Your analysis is the most in line with mine and its good to see that. I'm an avid MTG player so I'm applying a similar mindeset to this game and making the same connections you are.

I hadn’t seen someone try to put a bunch of items and a bunch of songs into the same deck. I hope it works! It will be a lot of fun if it does. Without playtesting it yet, one possible suggestion is to swap Part of Your World for Amber Simba. Then you’d have a bodyguard to give Maurice and the princesses some extra protection. Since you don’t have a lot of characters in the deck the recursion is helpful, but that change would give you more characters without tying up one on your board to sing (or the ink you may need elsewhere). Do we have a confirmation for maximum deck size? I know the minimum is 60 so doesn't that mean we could go beyond that for decks

I don't believe there is a maximum.

There's no actual maximum, but there's a practical maximum. There are 204 cards in the first se, and you're only allowed to include 2 colors in a deck. Assuming cards are allocated to colors evenly, you could have 68 unique cards, each at 4 copies, for a maximum of 272 cards in one deck when the full set is out. In the future when more sets are released the practical maximum will keep rising.

Your deck can use cards of up to two colors!

From my understanding of the rules, you can have more than 60 cards. Would it seem logical to do a draw deck and have it be an oversized deck?

The more cards you add to a deck, the less consistent it will be. I wouldn't recommend doing this.

@@werothegreat That makes sense. I was just thinking in the range of an extra 8-12 cards, so as to add a little extra and cover your bases so you don't overdraw and lose that way.
