The greater trail shoes I've tested so far with Nitro infused foam are the Puma Voyage 3. The PWR adapt outsole made a real breakthrough.

Great vid! For the AP4, I have a flatter foot, no stability needs and I also land mid foot. Should I be concerned with the cut out on the adidas pro 4? Also 185lbs and I’m shooting for 1:25 half marathon. Thanks for all the knowledge!!

I'm with you, no sweet potatoes, gravy or cranberries. I would lose pumpkin pie too. Bring on the stuffing.

Hi, to piggyback on Q #2 (on the potential impact of a specific shoe design on knees): are there certain characteristics in shoes, or specific models a person (like me) with a repaired medial meniscus and a subsequent _minor_ retear (that's still there; may or may not heal over time; too small to repair) should be looking at? Majority of the repair (of a larger tear) held and healed, and the knee has calmed down over time and with rehab and allows running. But I'm looking to lessen the impact and load placed on the meniscus. I discussed the situation with my ortho/surgeon and one thing he said was that a fore- and/or midfoot strike pattern ought to be preferable over a heelstrike one. But what about the shoes... A fair amount of cushioning, and a shoe that's catered towards a fore-/midfoot strike pattern, or?

Carbon shoes with aggressive rockers are the only shoes I use for 10k walks daily. For shoes with no plates I use carbon 2.5mm rods sharpened like a pencil, pushed in the midsole to stiffen up shoes and preventing any toe flex. I have over 30 shoes with rods in them. Never had an issue with single rod breaking. I can't walk 1k with flexible shoes due to arthritis in toes.

Aggressive toe spring (Asics) has caused 3 injuries for me

What were the injuries?
@Jobru8821 күн бұрын
@@bluesque9687MTP joint injuries, forefoot tendinitis, hip and back pain. My toes aren't designed to be pushed up in the toebox of the shoe. It's very painful to me, and I wish running shoe companies would stop doing this.
