When my Grandma was dying, she said in a weak voice, "Do you see that tree? It's right there! Can't you see it?" I looked over and said, "No Grandma, I can't," as the only "tree" that could have possibly been their was a bush that is visible in the backyard of the house (Grandma died at home) I am convinced that Grandma was seeing the tree of life. Also, while she was dying, she was pointing to something in thin air. I am convinced that heaven itself began to open up and she was pointing to things that she say in heaven. Most people in the church would say, "That was Satan deceiving you, as he had the power to do so." Whatever. On that one. I think that what I witnessed is one of the ways that Jesus uses to prove that something exists beyond this world.

Jay R. Salvation is by grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, I think the original poster’s grandmother trusted in Jesus for her salvation and thus will go to Heaven on judgement day. I can’t speak for your grandmother but if she rejected the gospel then God is too loving to force her into His presence. I recommend the video “What do we do in Heaven? What is Hell?” since it explains this a bit further. As Paul said in the book of Romans “if salvation could be earned through good works (works salvation), then people could boast about their works.” Instead God gives everyone a chance by sending His son to die for our sins, paying the fine we aren’t able to pay, and we have the free will to wither accept it or reject it. If you reject Jesus it’s probably because you don’t like God, so why would God let someone who hates Him into His “house”? That’s why He desires a relationship with us, so that He can give us Heaven because we love Him freely. The Living Waters youtube channel explains the gospel nicely :) God bless you, Jay! @@heavnxbound I had been trying for decades to bring my Grandparents to salvation. My Grandpa rejects Christ on his deathbed ALL BECAUSE one of his "religious" parents abused him. IF my Grandpa hated God, then it was ALL BECAUSE of the example set before him, for Even Jesus says "Thy have turned their back on me, because of the way you treat them." - (I too almost did, BEFORE Jesus showed me PERSONALLY who he really is, and that ALL of the examples I was given, were actually PHARISSES! - ALL 23 churches I've been to in a 30 year time frame.) - Though I now believe that something happened at the last minute as he laid unresponsive in his last night to where he accepted the Lord, because , 23 years later he came to me in a dream to talk to me about things re: my frame of mind, that he could have only known about if God let him watch what was going on. - Grandma died 22 years after he did, just 15 days before she would have turned 100 years old. - 6 months before she died, she started to go downhill, and once again I talked to her about the Lord, and she took ME on faith that I knew what I was talking about re: salvation and she accept the Lord just Six month before she died. ...And I can tell you, HELL ITSELF opened up at that moment to make her life even worse, for a group of Catholics took advantage of her on her deathbed, (family "friends" that deceived us) and it was worse that how I had treated her, as I had been battling Satanic anger my entire life. (Caused by a car accident that murdered my mother and sister at my age of EIGHT WEEKS!)

There were countless NDEs that saw Jesus , one blind lady who saw a red shoe on the rooftop of the hospital after she flatlined (which was later verified true) , she also saw Jesus (read Imagine Heaven by John Burke) . NOW you may ask me, how do I truly know what happen when I never experienced NDE before, it's all the same question again asking me how do we know what happen when we die -- we only have to ask people who experienced it, or we experience it ourselves. The answer is in the Bible. When God decreed the death penalty for Adam: (Genesis 3:19) In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you RETURN to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will RETURN.” Where was Adam prior to he being created? He didn't exist. Thus, he could only RETURN to such a state. That is why God has purposed resurrections for the dead (Acts 24:15). Resurrections bring back into existence those, who by death, have ceased to exist. I trust this is helpful.

I would require more evidence for what you sustain about NDEs: like really silly, unfalsifiable details around the world, double-blinded. For example a sequence generated at a certain known location and displayed on a computer screen, in a room no human can access. It would be seeded by a external operator that would provide the seed after the experiment to reconstruct the original sequence. If the person actually not dies and can tell the information when she was supposedly dead, that would be close from irrefutable to me. And we'd have to research very closely on the subject as it may still be non-arbitrary. But as long as the environment is not controlled, that would be insufficient as evidence for any decent scientific. Anyway interesting perspective I enjoy these videos, from an atheist!

There are other verses I could cite to show that he is a human being like Phillipians 4:8 which tells us that Jesus restricted his divine attributes when he became a human being. Jesus is the God-man. Don't confuse his humanity with his divinity. When he became a man he did not cease to be God as this is not possible he just restricted his divine pregoratives. Jesus though he was fully God, when he became man he put himself under the conditions of temptation to identify with our suffering as humans. Actually there no Jesus. The story was made up, the same as the Story of Enoch being taken to heaven without demise is all fallacy and some made up skit! There was no Noah, there was no Moses, staff were made up. They have taken what is allegorical as true events. And this guy hasn't answered the question about how do we know what happens when we die.

Humanity has made up a lot of fiction and given the parade of falsehoods and contradictions, the Bible is just another of a long list of fictions. There are a sea of claims on whether aliens exist or not. Even if God shows up in the sky today for the whole world to see, there will be countless counter claims tomorrow and a myriad of research papers by next week trying to explain the event as a scientific phenomenon. Point is, there will always be a sea of claims. Some true, others false. It is up to the individual to find out what holds true for him/her.

JESUS CHRIST died and rose again to remove the spiritual curse on man .... NOT to remove physical issues. JESUS said, "In this life you SHALL have trials and tribulations but fear not for I have overcome the world." The idea that JESUS was coming to establish a perfect tangible realm is the same misunderstanding the disciples had. In short follow what HE said to do and that is, "STUDY to show thyself approved, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed but rightly dividing the word of truth."
