Great long driving trip pod cast type listening but when you're trying to get some information....I just don't have the time.

Have you tried watching sports reporters breakdown a simple touchdown or a doubleplay? Now that is the epitome of blah blah blah.

I agree with you. He is not answering the original question.

so at what point do they ever actually answer the guys question??

Can anyone post the time (i.e. 11:30) when the question was answered? We all appreciate your help. Unfortunately, I can't make time to watch a 20 minute video, wondering when/if the subject is going to be covered. Watched a few minutes, skipping through, but never heard an answer.

I agree 100% with you. Unfortunately, I have noticed the same behavior while he answers other many questions.

I’m in the same boat and because I’m just as curious as the person who asked the question....I feel like you didn’t answer the question at all. He stated that you said you flew over a stadium and did a mapping gig and the measurements were accurate up to the inch. Yet, in your previous video you said and implied in order to do solid mapping for big areas and stadiums and agriculture you need a solution ranging from $50k-$100k. As a phantom 4 Pro owner like the guy who called in and holding a part 107 license trying to expand my knowledge in this industry as much as possible, from previous research and test missions with the trial versions of drone deploy, Pix4Dcapture, mapping apps...the Dji phantom 4 Pro seems to be just fine, no? And so from what I got from the question was what type of drone mapping, 3D capturing tips or advice/recommendations do you have for those who own the phantom 4 Pro because from my research the phantom 4 Pro has the potential and capability of doing mapping with these apps and subscriptions, no? I’m aware a monthly subscription for certain specific maps is required in these apps but good money can still be made using a phantom doing mapping for agriculture and land and buildings I thought

Can you get this model to work with GS Pro? Not being able to automated mapping feels like a big design flaw here. Any advice?

Hi, I have phantom 4 pro+, the remote control has build in screen, can I install any mapping pro in it? or should I buy another remote drone control? thanks

I've seen people suggest that you need another remote

Lots of great info on these videos. I would like to add that for those thinking about getting into drone mapping, some of the big demand for topographic mapping requires a surveyors license, especially if the mapping is to be used for design type of work. Check your state code before investing too much money.

Are you getting paid to discount Phantom 4 pro?

Would love to see the video of the year. Am I right in assuming you shot it more than 30 feet from the subject in order to abide by FAA Rules?

Thanks for the video. I've really started to like thee and there's great information. A set of concepts to get a handle on and in particular to maintain credibility is precision and accuracy and how they interact. We talk a lot about accuracy, it can be a bit meaningless. Precision has to do more with methods and tools while accuracy is the closeness to desired results. But the accuracy of a survey can never exceed the precision regardless of what the results show. For example, I can use a standard construction tape measure and measure a value, and it may get a result that's perfectly accurate, but the tape measure itself has limits in how well it can even take a measurement. On topic, I can fly an area and use Pix 4D to generate an orthophoto without GCPs, and it may show a high level of accuracy and I might even get a measurement that matches a very accurate location. Yet, the precision is not at the level of measurement I would get had I used GCPs, so it's a bit of a false accuracy. Unfortunately, most of the manufacturers and software producers don't comprehend the idea of precision. It's also why a number of surveyor's are frustrated with the industry. kzbin.info/www/bejne/noOkd4OaedWjsNU
