It's amazing that a lot of golfers don't know how to "release" the golf club but then it is easy to forget how to do it properly and is something that constantly needs practising on 🤒. When I have shown people what to do they are amazed at how it feels 🥳

You have to remember John, this is the new modern way of coaching release. What Gary were doing, is the way we were taught to play back in the 90's.

Some great tips in there Gaz, Scott looks a really knowledgeable coach. I've got myself a lesson next weekend with Lee Shepherd at Cleckheaton - it will be interesting to see where he can take my game as I've just never given myself enough tuition from an expert over the years. 👍

Good stuff. It’s invaluable! You just have to be prepared to hit lots of bad shots to get what the coach wants to feel comfortable and not judge wether you’re doing it right from the ball flight. Good luck

Great video, exactly the same as I am working with my coach currently, my default takeaway had become to fan the face open, trying to turn the face down to look at the ball is hard to turn into a habitual takeaway, mini swings and drills to master the take away is key for me 👍🏻

That was an informative vlog Gaz, some things from I can maybe try as I've been struggling with coming over the top with my right hand an shoulder at times lately, which has made me develop a dip at the bottom off swing, reaching for the ball 😕🏌️⛳ The struggles ehh 🤬 golf 😂

It’s not easy changing your grip. I think the best way is to over exaggerate a strong grip and closed face, then hit many balls until it feels comfortable, no matter the ball flight. You’ll adapt your swing until the ball flys straighter anyway.
