I lived in po dunk WV and I remember Thanksgiving week in high school was a ghost town because students and teachers and buss drivers were all taking the week off to the point where the county has trouble finding enough substitutes. My school set up that Thanksgiving week to where they had the Faculty senate day as well as “Rewards Day” a day you got off if you got no write ups all semester making it a week with 4 days off so that Monday, like half the school didn’t bother to show up

The reason why some people get irked at the phrase "females" is because of how disrespectful it sounds. Compare the typical person that says "females" to the typical person that says "males"; chances are, you've never even heard the latter. This one is actually a matter of debate for a lot of people. If an animal has edible flesh, it's technically considered meat by definition. But many categorize it as its own level on the food pyramid, as they believe "meat" is from land animals. I for one, classify it as "seafood", but I won't really question someone else if they don't. I find it hard to believe the store robbery one. No cash register in any store ever starts with zero dollars at the start of the day, there was probs at least a $200 float which they start with, unless it’s the world’s worst cashier and they’ve been handing out more money than they started with lol
