I am convinced that the people that leave random stuff everywhere at the store or food everywhere in restaurants are the type that never had to work that type of job ever. I currently work in a retail store and I have worked in a grocery store... Putting things where they don't go chaps my hide man. Someone put raw shrimp in the cereal aisle and the guy doing floor sweeps gave it to me and said "it might still be good." It was warm and dripping. The clothing store I currently work in is for kids and you wouldn't believe the amount of poops and peeps I clean up weekly. One kid wrote "Lukas" with his own poop on the wall of the kids bathroom and his mom just grabbed him and ran. The moms let them walk around and eat smashing shit into the floor as they go. Once I even had a woman try shoes on her kid and throw every pair on the floor that didn't fit then when I went back to see what was going on, she handed the pair in her hand to me and says, " None of these fit. Here you know better than I do how to put them back." Then paused and said, "I don't know who left all those shoes on the floor but that's f*cked up." I literally saw her taking them down and leaving them there.

I work in the frozen and dairy section at a grocery store and, because we are on the far end of the store, all the shit people pick up in other departments end up in our refrigerators and freezers. I’ve seen bottles of ibuprofen to sushi just lying there amongst the frozen veggies. We can’t sell frozen stuff that should be refrigerated, so all that expensive refrigerated shit gets thrown away.
@Dumb_Killjoy4 жыл бұрын
At least the Sushi people make some effort to keep it cold, but ibuprofen people, really?
@papaslider60794 жыл бұрын
Dumb Killjoy Careless customers are animals, man. They just don’t care about the workers. We call the stuff we have to scan out throw away shrink, and we get in trouble if we have too much shrink in a short amount of time, because it costs the store money. So these people that waste food in our freezers are not only affecting the owners negatively but also the workers who don’t even care about the money the owners are losing. It’s not like running a marathon to put the fucking ibuprofen back where you found it. Believe it or not, I’ve found ibuprofen and Tylenol in the freezers on more than three occasions.

@@papaslider6079 As a previous employee for two jobs where I've had to stock stuff in a retail setting and also working in a grocery store I can agree to this. I've literally found open Benydrl / Advil bottles with a few of the pills taken out and the rest put back. In some of these bottles I've even seen OTHER medication in their (from the customer). I also would find gallon milk jugs in the bathroom, in random aisles, in the medicine aisles, and even at the pharmacy. Whenever I would see random stuff everywhere before I was an employee I'd just think "damn he couldn't have just watched a few seconds down to the next aisle over?". When I started working in these environments I started to realize that not only is it just rude and ignorant but it is also harmful to how productive your shift is. It completely impacts every single shift because for the most part, these past two jobs have made me even help a completely different department and stay 1:30hr past clock out time. Plus it just wastes a lot of product and it makes employees who are doing something more important either step away from what they were doing at that time or have to do it before you leave causing you to stay late. Overall this effects the cost and stock of said product therefore hurting all parties involved.
@fordshojoe80803 жыл бұрын
@@romanianfps it's not only retail that customers suck. Try being a delivery and customer service manager for a event company. People calling saying this was messed up when I know they are lying because I had to inspect the equipment and trucks before and after they were loaded. Bounce houses would come back and have a hole in them or something and would deny it up and down saying it was like that when they got it. Ugh, the amount of people try so freaking hard to not do stuff and get stuff for free is baffling. Then say well your employees was mean to me or tell lies on my employees to again get free shit. People would rather risk an employee's livelihood because they are risking their job saying that stuff than just pay the 10 more dollars you're trying to get out of. Different jobs have different problems with customers or the public. My first job was a janitor for a college so you can just guess how that went people looking at you like you're the scum of the earth.

@@fordshojoe8080 Hmm well why not take time to take a video before each rental, save the video as the name of the customer, and if they complain rewind the video. But no! Apparently they need to leave the whole table covered in their half eaten crap with the half full cups and the dishes sprawled out over the whole surface. Lol sorry for the rant but I'm totally with Pig on this one, being in the service industry after only ever working as a nanny since before even graduating has shown me how ridiculous people can truly be. One night when I was closing lobby an old man came in 5 minutes before closing, went to use our bathroom while we made his pizza and left a disgusting used adult diaper in the sanitary pad trash can next to the toilet. It didn't even fit and it made the whole bathroom smell awful. We ended up using tongs to get it out, sanitized the trash, left the door open to let in some fresh air and threw out the tongs if I remember correctly. Definitely not what I expected to find while doing my closing that night...or any night lol.

I do agree that the text-to-speech channels are bad but I watch a couple of Reddit channels like Soothouse or WildSpartanz and enjoy it because of the group's banter more than the post because I've seen it already. As long as they only use Reddit as a prompt to start a conversation, then the channel can be very different and entertaining despite having to deal with the same content. Text-to-speech is straight up stealing but channels like this add something like Quackity's "which left" meme for example. It's essentially similar with playing videogames or discussing a movie's plot. Danplan's BTW series is very similar but it doesn't even use Reddit.

This comment is based on true events................: The ice cube shit is exactly what happens in my house, or just straight up empty. I just fucking quit getting ice, and guess what happened people? If you guessed: that all the ice disappeared and my mother-in-law asked me to go buy fucking ice, and when I asked “Oh, is there something wrong with the ice trays? Are they broken?” (I bought 6 of them MFers btw) and she replies “Oh, no, we’re just out of ice...” You guessed right! Congratulations! You’ve won the being just as pissed off as me award! The best part in all of this is that we also have 3 ice bins too, and instead of dumping the ice into the bins and filling the tray back up, everyone just leaves 1-3 pieces of ice in each tray. At 1st she tried the blame it on the daughter but lost that excuse when I called her out on the ones I made right before bed and know for a fact that nobody but her could’ve touched them, she just turns pink and giggles about getting caught. All in all, if I’m ever asked “who hurt you?” I’m going to point them to this comment so that way they can share in my madness and insanity.
