@2:40 I'm not blind, but I have noticed that sensation even with my eyes opened. When the acoustics of a room changes, like in certain industrial hallways. As a kid the doctors office I went to was in a building next door to a hospital with one of those glass "skybridges" connecting them on the floor my doctor was on, we'd park on the hospital side. That hallway before the bridge had kind of a muffled acoustic which made me feel claustrophobic even though visually it was a fair sized hallway. Another example where I noticed it, but less uncomfortable was when I had Ortho work done at UCLA. The entrance from the parking structure lead you to one of the basement floors of the dental building (I think there was two basement floors I forget which it dropped you in on), the acoustics of that hallway leading to the elevator gave a real sense of the walls presents. Like that tingle your about to bump into something on my left and right making me want to walk closer to the middle rather then to the right like I usually do, but I didn't notice it on the floor of the Ortho clinic. In highschool we moved and for years before I didn't think much of the acoustics of our old 1960s house, but are new house "feels" very strange walking around in it even after 5 years. The acoustics of the new house "feel" almost like it exists in non euclidean space. My family members who are less sensitive to sound have notice the acoustics properties being different, before they gave up and started texting each other in this house we use to always shout across the house at each other and walk towards the noise (Usually just a name, a "Yeah..." and then the person who called out walked over to quietly talk). In our old house we'd all be able to locate each other in 3d space with %99 accuracy. In our new house we can't even accurately determine what floor a sound is coming from, the accuracy of detecting what floor a sounds is coming from being only about 50% (may as well flip a coin to try to decide where a sound is coming from). I'm also someone who finds noise canceling headphone uncomfortable. Not sure if there is an overlap, but wouldn't be surprised.

Ultimately, you get an outline of things as you understand the interactions of the sound waves, with other things. An enemy's steps can be seen to move from their origin, up the silhouette of them and through the floor. So, with super regeneration like wolverine, and dead pool which you have gone over previously you mention how no single mutation could do such a thing. However, their is a solution that I don't think your seeing that would easily solve a lot of the problems with high speed regeneration, and that is high speed pluripotent stem cell production. By increasing the production of pluripotent stem cells the body could replace damaged tissue while completely bypassing the usually complex healing process, and this would also explain how such characters are capable of healing none regenerative tissue such as nervous tissue which can turn nasty if I actually undergoes cellular division given their considerable longevity.

Just thought of something weird: We try to figure out the rules of this world by physics, mathematics, chimestryand so on; then we figure out that there is indeed other dimentions and in the first one we contact, all the rules, are completely new to us. All the scientific stuff we know would have no existence there and stuff like time, dimentions and all this could make no sense there. This is a pretty cool idea for a story, but it would be as hard to create a story like this as it is to describe a completely new color.

Richard Dawkins said, it would be like only going out in pitch black and wearing glasses that shine red, blue or yellow light wherever you look, but you have to keep proactively choosing to press the button for fashlight, which is always fading.

Kinda feel bad for theses guys after he left they pretty much lost the channel and some people probably lost their jobs because it’s dead now. I can’t blame him tho, he probably wanted better pay and they said no because they thought he wasn’t what made them money they thought it was something else like the researchers and writers etc. They created him and when he became bigger than them they lost everything, it’s sad really story for them tho, should of gave him what he wanted
@wizrad20993 жыл бұрын
Seems like it was less about pay and more about creative differences. He wanted to make his own videos with the style and content that mattered to him, and they were wanting him to basically mimic Game Theory (don't get me wrong, I love MatPat, but he and Kyle are very different and they want different things). So he took a risk and left this channel to start his own channel. He seems happy.

Wow ok I'm starting to get worried about what happened behind the scenes of this. Because it seems to me that Kyle left super suddenly and they still to this day cannot find a new host for the show and didn't have time too before he left. So either something really bad happened behind the scenes, or Kyle just up and left with no warning. I think we deserve to know the truth.

@kb7clx Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately binaural movies never have been and probably never will be a thing until VR finally gets lighter and cheaper, not even Graphic Audio really takes advantage of that, and audio games until maybe very recently just used ordinary stereo, but if you're blind, VR is just a good set of headphones and a binaural audio clip like that old barbershop bit, or some of the more inventive ASMR stuff. With Hollywood, audio tends to be an afterthought. Sure, the pod racers move around in stereo and the plane crash surrounds you, but when dialogue happens it's usually stationary, mono or just one speaker, and doesn't have the talkers even in different locations, and certainly not even on left and right sides like a good 70s or 80s comedy record like the Bob & Doug or Cheech and Chong stuff. 3d Audio is only a big deal in some big budget attraction at Disney World or something. But at least we have things like KZbin videos from The Sound Traveler. BTW they were trying stereo in movies as early as 1940.

Maybe it’s an air pressure difference. Like when you’re right in front of a wall the air pressure on your front is different from the pressure on your back. I’m not actually sure but I think it could explain how a blind person knows when they’re about to hit a wall.

You should do a show on how the Earth can actually become flat. Not "what if" it were flat, but the science involved into making the Earth as flat of a disk as possible and then what would have to happen to make that possible. Eg: being shattered into dust and becoming a ring around its core ;)

If a superhero eats a large meal and then shapeshifts into a smaller animal or even a fly, would the undigested food rupture their stomach? What would happen if there was something in their body they couldn't shift? Such as the undigested food or a metal plate from a surgery. Would this have lethal consequences? There's alot to ask and ponder on here.

I have been an armchair astronomer all my life. One question, that I have asked many times to experienced people but I have never have gotten a good answer. If I am watching you fall towards a black hole from a safe distance. according to what i think I know, is that the person falling into the black hole would see me and everything else in the universe speed up in time, faster and faster the closer that person got. I would see the opposite, he would seem to freeze in time moving ever so slower and slower, to the point that it would take the end of the universe for me to see him fall in. If this is true, then my question is, How do black holes collide to form bigger black holes, that our gravity wave detectors can pick up. Shouldn't that black hole falling towards the other black hole get slower and slower in our frame of reference that they would never collide, never mind form a supermassive black hole?
