This is a very fruitful lecture. I haven't taken any class about process tracing in real and now I don't think that I need anymore because I took an online class from this video. Thank you very much for this wonderful lesson. Now I can use this method for my research.

im pretty sure, no one will give me the comprehensive answer on my question here, however here it is: How to measure the influence of actors on each other in a causal mechanism while doing process tracing? p.s. Derek Beach is a genius. had pleasure to meet him personally.

I think you'd have to find theory-based traces that suggest this type of influence on each other ;) and then test it (that's a way of doing it)

Just an observation. The circled boxes is an example of pairings of what the coach does and behavioral change elicited on the part of the participant. In a causal chain. As an evaluator, I thank-you for that insight. :) Oh, and BTW the causal analysis is a lot like traditional Theory of Change M&E analysis.
