laughs in Blut not being utilized and the questionable plot holes it opens with Isshin saying Masaki had Blut implying this advanced technique is something Ishida wouldve known and used from day 1 as he is literally a prodigy and genius in the art of the quincy that the mad scientist who dissected and studied them unethically gave him high praise of his skill. Like gurl Isshin stop trying to make Masaki look strong lmao. Just say she couldnt defend herself and be done with it

Yeah this is part of thenreason I think fullbringers are related to quincies. Or at least Ginjo is a very unique fullbringer. He could steal Ichigos power and was able to redistribute it to his peers almost the same way that Yhwach does.

I recently rewatched the part where Bambi mentions how they can't use Vollstandig while they posses someone's Bankai and I was thinking of discussing it. The problem is how we don't really get any more details on it. So all I can do is boldly theorize about it. But here is my opinion, we know that Bankai and Vollstandig are very similar (they allow the user to utilize more of their potential), same as Resurreccion. We also know that they are insanely tiring (for Bankai it was stated multiple times, for Vollstandig Giselle mentioned it). It was also shown how concentrated and intense user's Reiatsu gets when Bankai gets released. So my guess is that to steal someone's Bankai which is basically like stealing a part of someone's soul and their Reiatsu, Quincy had to temporarily lock away their Vollstandig, just to be able to control the Bankai (remember when Yhwach said how no Quincy other than himself could steal Yama's Bankai). So if a Quincy who had stolen the Bankai was to activate Vollstandig, there was no way they could keep the stolen Bankai under control, which means the Medallion would break and Bankai would return to the user.

Not sure if you plan to read the Novels, but there might be one or two more than Ichigo. But basically yes, you need to have immense amount of Reiryoku to even attempt something like that

@@fredhopratama9835 I'd argue that even Ichigo can't, at least not directly. We forget, tons of Ichigo's powers are interwoven with one another...thus they are the same power rather than differing powers. Even the idea that Shiro and "Zangetsu" are different...isn't completely true. Shiro tells Ichigo this directly once, saying that they're both a part of his spiritual power and share the same body. That its the difference between being alive and having flesh or dead and being bones. Them being able to fuse and fight him for mugetsu is even more proof of that, never mind his moment of "you're both Zangetsu to me." So, I'd argue that Ichigo can't either. He can just get around the usual limitations because his power is so unique and uniquely integrated into itself.

To answer the first question. Imagine it this way, if Sankt Altar (ability stealing) is Yhwach's ability, that means it's a part of his soul. What he has most probably done is chipped away his soul and formed it in a physical manner. That's how Medallion was formed. Of course, there is a chance a bit of science was involved to cultivate the power to form such a shape and whatnot. But it's highly likely Medallions are just pieces of Yhwach's soul.

Well there is no other way to explain this but to say that Yhwach is stupid op (trust me you haven't seen anything yet if you haven't read the manga). It's an ability unique to him that allows him to steal almost any ability from anyone.

It was really helpful for us the fans that didn't get much explanation on many aspects of the thousand year war Arc, Kubo sensei really left too many details when writing Bleach's final arc. Also, I was following Bleach manga weekly when it was still publishing and I was there when everyone was feeling Bleach ending was rushed and disappointed that Rukia didn't end up with Ichigo 😅

Well.. Ichigo did say both were Zangetsu and Yhwachgetsu was suppressing Zangetsu, so suppressing the actual Zanpakuto spirit might have given him the chance to take his place in Tenshintai training

It still doesn’t make sense, considering Bankai is the full release of a Zanpakutou, and that a Zanpakutou is one with the Shinigami. Even if somehow you manage to make sense of it, the fact the Shinigami could still use their Shikai completely makes the whole thing illogical.

2 reasons why this might be false. First reason is when Yhwach stole Yamamotos bankai he had to also use one of those pendants so unless those pendants are more effective than his power is (which is highly unlikely as they would have to act as a small fraction of his power) he could have just used his powers to steall it and use it himself. And second reason is that when Yhwach steals a power he gets to use it at max capacity while the sternritters can only use a part of that bankais power since when one of the sternritters used squad ones lieuthenants bankai against Yamamoto, Yamamoto said that that is a mere fraction of that bankais true power.

I thought the same in a lot of the fights occurring during the invasion of Soul Society; when they noticed their zanpakutō had limited (or no) effect, why didn't they resolve to using kidō instead, or as a supplement to overpower or overwhelm their enemies? Kidō is extremely powerful and useful and there were loads of skilled users among the shinigami, as kidō proficiency was part of their academy training.

It is a known fact for everyone that has read Bleach and it is a done thing without reverseable action but the best thing we can receive is the new Bleach anime that adapts the thousand year blood war with Tite Kubo as an overview and oversaw the production, like the recently more explore Senjumaru power. Even an extra or Gaiden story can't entirely rewrote the entire arc, they can only add something to the story.
