Parallels ? They are almost the antithesis of one another. Friede laid down her sword, her ambitions for power, and abandoned her sisters and fate to go help the humble kin of the painted world. Malenia, on the other hand, is extremely belligerent, destroyed half the world in her quest for power, and is still keen to pursue her fate as the godess of Rot when we meet her. I mean, the only thing I could see them have in common (other than their being women) is their relation to rot, but this is a very indirect relation in the case of Friede and rot isn't the same concept in Ds3 as in Elden Ring.

It's a beautiful fight, but the only thing that second-level Marlenia lacks is the volleying shadow clone move. If you can use this move, it will also cause high damage. It's not easy to miss when fighting against large bosses.

It looks as though phase 2 malenia is bugged or miscaled, her defense is far higher than it should be in comparison to phase 1, and she loses all susceptibility to status effects. Frost is one of her weaknesses and yet the meter didn't even go up or appear when phase 2 malenia stood in Friede's ice which it should have.

But the mod still doesn't work, I can't choose Malenia in class creation or in the sanctuary. I copied all the files to the “Game” folder, where the game is located. I copied everything there, including the files called: “HoodiePatcher.dll, dinput8.dll, modengine.ini and HoodiePatcher.ini”.

@@danielegalizzi8562 the form is supposed to be temporary, only lasting until your mp bar is drained but for some reason the modder made some attacks like waterfowl regen the mp bar which is strange

​@@trevorphilips2307 I did the same and it won't let me. It tells me that the version of Mod Engine I have is only made for 1.15, but I have deleted the Mod Engine from the game folder. When I installed the Malenia mod file, it came with 4 other files, one of them called: “modengine.ini” which, when I delete it, I don't get that “unsupported version of Dark Souls 3 detected” notice, but it doesn't appear neither Malenia's class when creating a new game, nor in grace.
