How Efficient Is My Auto Detailing Van Setup???

For the towels on top…try folding them in fourths-or at least half…instead of laying them open and flat…that would give you room to put interior towels next to them 😊 your set up is fire…literally the best of the best-I’d be so proud standing next to that 😊

Thats a great Idea 😊 and come to think Of it that’s pretty much my whole collection of towels, it’s probably not necessary to carry that many. I could cut that in half store the rest in my house and then Like you said fold them in halves to make room for my interior towels. Most detailers have a nice stack towels in a cabinet at home anyways, Im over here jamming all of em at once lol We do go through a lot though. Thank you 🥰 Thats just how I feel, Wish I could just keep it in a show room and use it for demonstrations only but pretty soon here were going to start driving in some REAL business and the the setups going to start to get a good amount of hours on it..but you know us detailers are good at preserving things, so I’ll do my best to maintain her

Dual generator’s is a nice idea. Most likely better fuel efficiency because you can get by with 1 but for more power you have the 2nd one. If 1 generator goes down you have a backup. Good idea.

They also can be quieter, since they are smaller. And they also are portable and detachable, can be easily used for camping etc. Unlike a large stationary one. They have been fun and very, but I can’t help but want to upgrade to an electric eventually.

I've watched a ton of mobile detailing videos and no one, has anything even close to this set up. The power outlets alone are great, you can run just about anything. Beyond that the layout is perfect with everything right at your fingertips. Best mobile set-up on Y/T, bar none. I need one of those Milwaukee blowers ....

Yeah the blower is super sweet, they sell a snub nose attachment for it, I think with that it’ll be one of the best blowers around.

Why do you drain your air compressor ? Since you guys don’t have humidity out there it seems to be a waste of time letting it refill

It fluctuates, some days I drain it and barely 1 or 2 drops come out. Other days I drain and more than a rusty cap full of water comes out. Im pretty sure its necessary but who knows. I also have a problem with the way they mounted it. I can only access the right tank valve to drain. The left tank valve is completely inaccessible unless I loosen the mount and lift up. So who knows how much water has built up in that tank.

I really can’t tell you that number yet because we just opened and haven’t been fully operational, Probably the month of august I can give a better estimate, were doing a big promotion and running google ads that month so were expecting our first big turn out. But there’s a lot of facets when building a business and I plan to share it with all you guys as we progress. Good luck with getting into the business I think itd be a smart move.
