Assembled in USA from mostly foreign made parts. Good luck finding anything actually made in the USA at any cost.

The bike comes to life in the US. I guess some might have a different definition of "made" but they are transparent that they use global materials. From your perspective, would every single bolt need to be made in the US from metal sourced in the US? Where does the line get drawn? I'll continue to praise them for what they've been able to do.

It would be wonderful if indeed the bicycles are made here in the US, but they are not. They are nothing more than an assembly company. Granted, they do custom paint work. Since everything comes from overseas, why would I pay more for a bike assemble here. Ever since the US started outsourcing, it will never be the country I once knew where everything was made her, from kitchen appliances to radios to TVs. A time when the US stood proud of their accomplishments. What a total sad state of affairs we are in now. You really should change the name of the title of this video to “How Electric Bikes Are Assembled in the USA.” If you were around when a company would be proud enough to say, “Made in America,” and proud enough to label their products as truly “Made in America.” I do thank you for providing this video, though. Tell me. How do they label their bikes? Made in, or Assembled in . . . ?

In today's global economy, it's challenging to find products entirely made from U.S.-sourced components, and this applies to many industries, including electric bikes. While Electric Bike Company sources components like motors, batteries etc. from overseas, they take pride in the fact that their bikes are built from raw frames in California, where workers handle everything from painting and assembling to testing and shipping. To me this bringing to life of a new ebike justifies the made in America advertising. As for labeling, Electric Bike Company is transparent about sourcing components globally but emphasizes the significant assembly and customization done here in the U.S. The term 'Made in the USA' can mean different things, but in this case, it reflects the hard work and craftsmanship that happens in their California factory.

Workers in the factory handle everything from running cables, lacing wheels, painting, assembling, testing, and shipping. So while parts come from various suppliers, the bikes are truly built from the ground up here in the U.S. Curious what your line is in the definition of "Made in the USA". I recently met a new company that's taking old bikes, cutting frames and sanding them down to bare metal and up-cycling them so to speak, into an ebike. Is that considered made in the US?
