Normal shoes with 1 inch is ok, I am 172 cm tall with shoes 174cm... 165 cm to 175 cm is a good normal height for any guy if they have good looks and good body shape....if above 175 to 185 cm then it's good as well..... which is considered more tally......

Sensacion Both great shoes (I have a pair of Parks too). The main difference is that these are elevator shoes, where as the AEs are just normal dress shoes. So it kind of depends on what you want.

They're nicer than Don's, but I don't wear elevator shoes and don't really recommend them for anyone (unless you REALLY want them). I'd stay away from Don's, as I've heard a lot of horror stories with customer service.

I am slightly under 5'10 barefoot. But i am Asian, but i am tall for an Asian. As long as we realise that we live in a world were people come in different heights, we can stop trying to match another person. There are some people who are as short as 5'0 tall. But people from different countries have differing heights. It takes alot of guts to go out and live your life and not be paranoid about little jibes that people may make.

5'10 is not that tall for an Asian anymore. Asians are getting taller, as a matter of fact Koreans and Chinese are the tallest Asians with an average of 5'10" and 5'8.75" respectively.

I advice you to get a better camera and start uploading 1080p videos, it's 2015 and if you want to give your channel a more professional look it is the way to go, also you should make a video on sneakers vs shoes/chukkas/boots perhaps or a video on cowboy boots, maybe a video on the right fit of jeans for short men (low rise high rise skinny etc). No, it would be VERY hard to run or workout with a 3-4 inch insole.

+Alex Luthor You can add a little bit of boost to most shoes (there are plenty of products you can buy to do this), but if you try to add more than an inch or so, the heel will be too low. Real elevator shoes, like the ones I'm showing in the video, are designed with a higher heel so your foot is still in the right place, even with the added insole.

***** "Height" surgery is only lengthening the legs because that's what expands the most during growth spurt: Legs. Also, between a 5'11 guy and 6'2 guy, the most noticeable difference would be the legs. So you won't look weird if you choose a 3'' lengthening surgery. I agree, however, if you got tiny hands for 5'8, they would look even smaller when you become 6' tall. That case is a NO.

Only works on shoes with high instep, like chukka boots, combats boots, and most sneakers. Can't just buy inserts and use them on dress shoes, they won't fit.

+Houdaloth Ali I disagree that only insecure people wear these, but I do agree that you should try to be content with whatever genetic hand you were dealt. Plenty of confident short men out there, and some of them choose to wear elevator shoes for different reasons.

Your friend may be confident, but ask him about how he feels about being 5'3. I'm 100% sure he will tell you about the struggle. And while confidence helps a lot, it doesn't change the fact that height is one of the most important attractiveness criteria, probably above confidence and personality. It's also difficult to make people genuinely respect you when you're short. You can earn a position of power (which has been proven to be a lot more difficult for short men), and yet have people only seemingly respect you out of hierarchy and not as a person.

They might not be as comfortable as regular shoes since they kind of alter the way you stand/walk. But I'm sure you could wear them everyday and get used to them. I probably wouldn't, just because I prefer to be as comfortable as possible!
