The crazy part is that it gave Lamar a reason to embrace going under center to do play action. His pass numbers on those play action reps are very efficient despite not really airing the ball out. In part due to not really having speedsters to vertically stretch the field. But Flowers, Bateman, Andrews and Likely will get to feast on underneath routes because opposing defenses are selling out to stop the Ravens efficient run game. Its like Monken and Lamar with the receivers found a backdoor way to execute Kyle Shanahan's version 1 of his offense.

Who didn’t think this was an awesome match? I saw Henry to the Ravens and just knew it’d be a match made in heaven. Lamar doesn’t have to shoulder the power run game and can be the all star he’s always been yet hasn’t had the weapons on either OL or skill position players or OC/system. I want them to make it through the AFC but Chiefs will still be a mission.

Nick Bolton for one is the best neutralizer of Star Running Backs anyone has in this league on the Linebacker level and Leo Chanel isnt far behind him. I can say they can shut down Henry because they have. Consistently. Now Lamar Jackson is a fucking handfull for sure but the Chiefs defense is disciplined and rarely fails contain. Lamar Jackson is the one faced with a herculean task.

The Ravens are not as good as people think and you're going to see them come down to earth soon. Henry's actually not that difficult to stop, you just have to have the personnel and discipline. They haven't faced a good run defense yet. I'm thinking the buccaneers are probably the best that they will have faced to this point. The thing with Henry is that he's slow until he gets a head of steam and then he'll run over everybody. So the trick is you have to get him down within the first few yards of him touching the ball. If he doesn't have good momentum, is not that difficult to bring down. This is going to piss off Ravens fans, but somebody needs to burst your bubble a little bit.

But if some team in the playoffs is able to slow down the run game and get a decent lead on them, and Lamar is forced to throw instead of being able to keep mixing it up and the defense having to keep honest, that's the way to stop them.
