Well known fact? Well known to who?? More well known than the people who were actually present during the war? Three of my uncles (Kuwaiti) were tortured during 1990.. and they all died from their wounds. They were not military too they were normal people. There are women who were raped in front of their husbands and impregnated by Iraqi soldiers. They gave out flowers? Is that a joke or something?
