I played this gsme at launch. Joined a competitive clan and lived /breathed this game for a number of years. My 2nd favorite game all time. Can't wait for the re-release.

Old friends is a great mission in between the Egyptian and norse part of the campaign, playing this story of the odyssey and the opportunity of playing greeks again makes it really fun

There is a "Retold" version coming out in like 4-5 weeks. That's why so many videos pop up recenty

There should have been a mandatory side quest where you had to kill Kamos' Leviathan in watch that first step.. Like there's no reason for him to run off to that cliff if he doesn't have an escape plan.. especially since in a normal playthrough he's supposed to know you're here.. Or maybe something Dynamic, like if you can take him by surprise like in this speedrun, he hasn't prepared his escape so the leviathan hasn't been called there in advance. but if he manage to get his scouts back then he preps leviathan and thus you need to kill it before you can siege..

I still partially regret that I never did Tug of War without rushing it, it's basically a reflex to do just spam the powers and rush it xD I wonder what they will do with it in Retold.

The Sword-bearers on mission 2 are actually extremely NOT fragile and can be safely used to tank damage and minimize losses in the opening skirmishes.

They are for speedrunning, you need them at full hp when you shift them in. Sometimes even at full HP they don’t make it to the guardian. Maybe in a normal play through they can be used to tank

@@mooseaom I think it could be pretty safe to use them to tank. They only take damage later on if you don't bait the Avengers out first.

Are we gonna ignore the fact thar you beat a world record by nearly 2 minutes? Like you are tying and beating world records while making a video.

I beat 2 in this run 🙂 i’m only doing a few attempts each mission. The times for speedruns are calculated weird, it’s mission time - cutscene time. The number on the right in blue that I show at the end of each mission is the “in game timer” which I feel makes more sense

@@mooseaom The issue with the ending IGT is that it can be inconsistent. Not always, but for a few levels cutscenes take varying amount of time for different people, usually differing by a second or two. That said anything is better than real-time. Full campaign runs use real-time instead of IGT which just emphasizes lag optimization, the least enjoyable watching experience of all.
