In my town, we have these Sabal palms at a park and there are a bunch of seedlings that easily come out of the ground, so I took some, and the biggest one that I took is about 4 or 5 years old and is doing perfect

Does wind ruin these palm's fronds? I know wind just tatters the Trachy fronds.
@TheJames29295 жыл бұрын
Mick Obrien no wind will not damage these leaves at all. you will see a palmetto at 120 mile an hour wind in a hurricane with all of its leaves on
@mickobrien31564 жыл бұрын
@@TheJames2929 I know the leaves will stay attached... but on some palms, like the Trachy, they just look all beat to hell, like an old shredded flag just flopping around in the wind. But OK. Since you have one I'll obviously take your word that too much wind doesn't make them look bad.

@@TheJames2929 One last question... Have you ever used infrared thermal heaters? You know, because they don't waste energy heating air, they just directly heat objects... Ever use them? I still don't know why nobody on border USDA zones aren't using these things yet.
