How FAST Is My TRAXXAS DRAG SLASH on 3S LIPO??

I am looking at a getting a drag slash however I am having a hard time between 2s and 3s. I am just planning on driving around and doing some speed runs for fun. Does it overheat on 3s, I used to be big into traxxas when I was a kid and looking to get back into it

2s is probably gonna be best to run…..in no-prep drag racing….the limit is actually a 2s pack

Like any electric, if you run full power, it warms up, but if you stick with optional pinion, and don't go up, you'll be fine. I have two. My dr10 is between 70 and 80 on 2s. I uploaded a vid before I balanced and added weight up front, and had to get off it at 66.9, as the front wheels were completely off the ground and still accelerating, and the wind was pushing it sideways off the road. They are fun.

i did my first pass on the new 2wd slash build and hit 70 and that was with balloon tires and 60 yards io was stoked

@@RCKnockout is that a decent speed for 3s I think I can go a decent bit faster with a bigger area and some proper tires

@@RCKnockout it's called gps speedometer its a phone gps it seemed pretty accurate testing the gearing is 28/56 I believe

put some adhesive weights in the front to keep it down
