@davidbiagi2932 he probably hasn't looked like the shredded 250 Eli training with ryno since probably 250 days lol. There's been photos out there for years where he just looks like a normal dude. Part of that is the altitude he's at. He's not gonna be shredded like that for sure. Not sure how much crossfit he does now, but he used to crossfit a lot

@@davidbiagi2932 Dude you cannot be outta shape a run two 30 min plus 2 motos and be just juts kinda in shape. I'm just a local 450 A scrub and I'm wrecked after two motos. Eli is in better shape than 99% of the riders on this planet I'm sure.

I feel like this type of information is important for the casual viewer or new viewer of the sport to understand how athletic these riders are. Really wish they would show riders' heart rates on screen during the broadcast.

Great videos Alex. Actually agree with Deegan, to much emphasis is placed on long moto’s and not enough on building speed and skill. Long moto’s force you to pace yourself (and require a lot of recovery) so your not finding those opportunities to build speed

Back in the 80's Pro's rode 40 min moto's plus 2 laps x 2 motos on 2 strokes! Most today could 't do 30 min on a 2 stroke. Johnny O show, Bailey, Johnson, Ward, Glover, Chandler, Pederson all legends of the fitest MX racers of all time

Brian made a great comment on moto’s being a thing of the past. It’s like a lot of these ufc fighters they already know how to fight they just need the strength and endurance in the later rounds. Same thing with motocross, a lot of these guys just get burnt out later in the race. Tom Vialle and Levi are great examples, super fast and then lose that edge.

why not ask Ken what he does to get fit, instead of asking him questions like how quickly can you run 5K/10K. Obviously those who runs professionally, or hobbyist would 9/10 times beat a motocross racer, but what training does Ken do, to perform on his bike.

I love Moto but these guys aren’t strong. I’m 173 lbs just an average guy 29 yr old and do MMA. I can bench 285, squat 350 and deadlift 425. Also can get up and run 6 miles.

I don’t think you understand how hard it is to work out when you hit the ground like we do, I crashed on a sx track 2 months ago I still can’t do a full workout, these dudes have been doing this since they were kids. Easy when all you got is working out and rest

185 bench? I could bench that in high school 🤷♂️🤷♂️
@gungadingoАй бұрын
I benched 240 in high school, farm boy tough. I only weighed in at 120. Picking up and stacking 100-120 pound hay bales all day long will do that for you. Hand milking cows gives you a really powerful grip. 72 years old and still farming. Old man strength and muscle memory is all I have left.
@davidbiagi2932Ай бұрын
They don’t try to lift heavy and max out, that isn’t good for this sport. You don’t want to be a body builder and getting on a damn dirtbike. Most all of these guys could easily bench way more than they do if they needed. They have to stay lean but strong. But I highly doubt you benched 185 in high school. Proof or it didn’t happen
@thomasvinsen1410Ай бұрын
@@davidbiagi2932 185 is impressive in high school? Are you serious. The enitire football team could do that 😂😂. Ken said it’s his 1 rep max. Go watch chases videos. He can beach 225. Which even that isn’t impressive
