You don't need to pay thousands to get healthy, stop eating the crappy food out there, eat organic, stop consuming gluten, wheat, dairy, grains, leave sugar for good, no alcohol, no soft drinks, exercise, drink plenty of water, fast, no bad carbs, eat good fats, vegetables, educate yourself on health, and heal yourself. Doctors are not healers, our own bodies are the healers, it does it on its own if you allow it to.

Yes, IBS leaky gut can cause issues with serotonin production. Fixing leaky gut is a short term solutions to treat OCD because that will not rewire the brain effectively. Long term answer is addressing the underlying childhood trauma. By saying that if one can overcome addictions to excess fatty and sugary food, caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, party street drugs, social media, music, technology, shopping etc and become minimalist for 6 months, there is a big chance that OCD should become lot less.

Dental mill dentistry is real...I quit going to the dentist with one more appointment supposedly to fill one more....3 years later had a toothache, went to new dentist..got teeth cleaned and had a little sore gum...that's all...no cavities...they used me and filled my mouth with mercury ...also at time of first round of fillings depression entered...happy ending? Yes, understanding what it was and now later in life diet changes and intermittent fasting has brought so much good change and no one that has known me can deny it...I am still using cognitive behavior techniques to help me but the depression is lighter and I don't stay stuck and exhausted anymore...no medications...I have been better for over 12 years...my doctors are also impressed.

Any tips on how to deal with OCPD?
@milochamp1586 Жыл бұрын
OCD is rarely genetic though there is some evidence. The genetic correlation is extremely less. It is mainly childhood trauma related. I know this for a fact as someone who experienced OCD since I was around 18 years. Fortunately I was able to see many things that happened in my past and what triggered the OCD. OCD is the aftermath of trauma.

My son has OCD. He had no trauma. He did have Strep so many times I took him out of school to be less active in 6th grade. He went on to become regional tennis and golf. He still has OCD at 36. I’m so tired of mental illness in my family. My mother was bipolar; my other son is bipolar. I’m sure my mother had stress. Her sister is bipolar. Both my mom and her sister had gut issues with diarrhea. The problem is, trauma affects those who have these genetics, otherwise trauma might cause another ailment. These doctors have me taking pages of notes and I’m already familiar with functional medicine. Issue is getting CARE AND TREATMENT THE CORRECT WAY.

@milochamp1586 Жыл бұрын
@@susanjannarone135 Actually Strep infection is also a result of a childhood trauma according to center for infectious diseases. Please do some research. Trauma does not mean a major event like an an accident for a little child. Trauma can be caused by a child not feeling safe for whatever reason where he or she never expressed to the mother of what he found uncomfortable because sometimes kids worry to share certain tings and keep things to them selves. . Good news is OCD can be attacked in 2 ways using supplements that help OCD and anxiety, TMS as well as working on healing deeply rooted traumas. If he is avoiding something and OCD rituals are the way for him to feel safe, he knows what things he is avoiding.

@SmallSpoonBrigade6 ай бұрын
OCD for me was primarily an executive functioning issue. Certain things wouldn't register as having been completed. Eventually, I got wise to that and started to hold the dials more gently and slowly turn them until my hand slipped. The result was that it would generally register. Then, I'd just not check it again, I'd accept that it was done and I wouldn't check unless I had some specific reason to believe that this time I hadn't done it.

I have had ocd since I was 12 and I'm 36. It is pure hell. I have done lots of therapy for it bit I still can't stop the constant intrusive repetitive thoughts. You want to stop thinking about one specific thing but you can't and your ocd brain tells you if you don't do xyz whatever it is that xyz (something horrific) will happen. Therefore you are stuck doing compulsions all day every day because 10,000 times isn't enough the ocd wants you to do it 10,001 times. It is beyond horrific and debilitating. I love my life but with ocd all i can think about is how much I want to die because I feel like my brain controls me and I can't control it ever.

My son is only 7 and he just started having it really bad. He has inherited it from his dad. I am researching how I can help my little guy. I've always worried he would have it, but having it at 7 really petrifies me as I know first hand how debilitating this condition can be. It is 100% genetically for my son, but exacerbated by exposure to my husband. If it is indeed connected to the gut, then it is also genetic. Otherwise, how else do you explain my son having it so bad that early on ?
@Seruleo_ Жыл бұрын
The root cause could be genetic but ocd is a symptom of something else going on in the body. Look into pans/pandas. Gut dysbiosis. Mold. Heavy metals. Find a good functional medicine doctor!
@jjpauline1828 Жыл бұрын
you haven't scratched the surface yet. Genetics play a part, but truthfully you will find there is way more that is affecting your child. For instance did you give him childhood vac's? does he eat gluten & dairy? These are some of the main culprits. Then strep or Lyme is a huge one!! there are multiple tests that can be done through functional doctors and they can help. there is a root cause more so then inherited. I would try and go carnivore diet and rid the rest of the junk.

Bingo..genetics and environment. You know, at age 7...I highly doubt OCD existed like that in 1900 before modern life took over. Is there a chemical cause in the food, medicine, vaccines, water?
