Exactly! The number of turns induced by the structure and its inherent inefficiencies (mainly relinquishing the positional advantage and obvious cutting patterns) is off the charts here. For sure that was not the best execution any of these two teams can do given the amazing rosters they have, but it still helps highlighting how even top athlete can struggle to navigate properly in the stack world (silo systems).

@@floriangailliegue6760 well... what we don't really know is how much each team has practiced together.. the german team.. essentaily is domainated by womens players from belin i think and mens mostly from the stuttgart area.. one can easily drive around in germany and meet each other at some central location.. vs for the Canadian players.. you have people dominated from Vancouver (Furious) vs Toronto(womens team).. thats a 4ish hour flight... I believe for the USA team.. its heavily dominated by players from the NorthEast.. hard to judge how these cobbled teams from various regions together how much they've practiced prior..

@@Mellowyellow8888 In that case that highlights another problem of the silos systems which would you choose a system that heavily reliant on connection between the different players to make sure timing and such are timed perfectly. A more organic approach would drastically improve the results is practice time together was an issue !

terrible game from canada lol my thought is that he moved into the way of her lane, he wasnt stationary when he got there and he came in at a dangerous angle where she couldnt really see. I'd love to hear more thoughts on it though

it could really go both ways but I lean on the defensive side as the offensive player runs into him already in position to defend. I would determine this to be a minor contact and not really the fault of either party.
