You can actually land on the ground with Bowser's side special so he suffers LITERALLY no landing lag. You can land out of tumble with side B and grab or jab, down tilt, pivot grab or any special. It's extremely useful, i'm happy to see my main getting some praise

As a Bowser main I feel top of high tier is a little extreme. High mid or bottom of high tier sounds a little more accurate to me.

That makes sense, I don't main bowser but I do use him and yes he is deadly and has great setups but against fast characters at times he can be combo food, but his strengths greatly outweigh his flaws. Bowser rules and yes low high tier or high mid tier is a perfect place for him

The Bowser bomb is kind of a all or nothing move good for when you both are about to die in one hit and you took the high ground, especially if you don't use it as often, it can take of caugth, is ground punches are very fast coming and strong with a good reach, it just blocks him in place, but Bowser is not about combos, he upsmash can protect him from a lot of aerials attacks, even items for casual players, you see the shield breacking item, no time to roll if you shield and too high damage to survive a full hit? Up smash, it stops on your shell, dropping like if it just spawned, and you are like if nothing happened, mario down air on you? Upshash, first hit stops him without hurting him, secound send him far enougth for an aerial attack from Bowser. When friends get angry at me when I play Bowser, about how I can beat them with combos of three hit max when they master mario, luigi or shiek, I say them that: Bowser is all about timing, fiding the moment you're unable to protect, and sending a strong hit. PS: I love going though projecting spam, slowly walking toward the attecker, destroying every projectiles with a manly puch for each, just like a badass bad guys from a shonen animes.

I'm a Bowser main, and I agree with a lot of what you said ZeRo, I think Bowser has a lot of good tools, and few hard MUs, but he's solid. Imo I thinks he's around top 25 (Lower High tier, upper mid) and I feel his only real struggle comes from how well a player exploits him on the ledge and in disadvantage state. Like when you and Nairo played at Your Saga, you demonstrated what makes Bowser struggle by keeping him on the ledge. That alone if exploited properly can cost matches and stocks especially vs characters like Diddy and Sheik. Anyway, glad to see you making vids again man, I really enjoy your content. You can escape out of tumble with side B, but the landing lag in his aerials can't be canceled. That makes his landing very weak, since he either side B's, or bets it all in his landing attack.

Yes, take this in mind please. Bowser has slow airspeed, the worst landing lag in general of all characters and he doesn't have a safe landing move besides side B. So you can't land from high to low because down air and down B are predictable. Also, his fastfall speed isn't that good either and he is combo food

I think Nairo's Bowser is like Larry's DK, it's a heavy punish grapple character they bust out on matchups or players that try to out neutral, but keep getting grabbed. I think it's a stretch to say they're high tier. They are, like you say, counter pick characters. They're good when a harsh grab punish game is what you need. But that's only situationally good. If you're not getting grabs with these characters, or get pushed beyond the percents where the confirms work, they become much less viable.

dont forget his flinch guard. As long as he is on the ground on the third (i think) hit from a multiple attack/projectile move he will not flinch. Good for multi hitting jabs and megamans shot, falco's laser, G+W sausages etc.

Bowser might be a really good character but his size is going to hold him back from top 10 since characters like Mac, Lucas, and Metaknight can combo him for the entire round and there's nothing he can do; especially when you consider his inability to land. You can sort of make up for his bad offstage by relying on back air and Bowser bomb to ledge for a mix up when they start trying to recover high.

I play not often grabs with Bowser as you. I am able to have good results without resorting, repeatedly, the grab of Bowser. I use Smash, Standard hit (on the ground) and Aerial Smashes. I think sincerely that it haves better to do. The A neutral is really good, but in the air, it is possible to do three claws hit in a row in a combo. For me, a good rivality for Bowser is with Yoshi.

Kage Aisuko when the first fixed his Upthrow it had already got nerfed in the next patch, Upthrow UpAir only works between 5-10 % on very specific percents and changes greatly on how much rage you have, I think he's fine as he is.

And about Bowser's weaknesses. You might not have experienced this, but I am certain that most of Bowser's moves actually have huge hurtboxes. I only have Lv 9 CPUs to play with, and while I understand that Lv 9 CPUs cannot compare with human players, Lv 9 CPUs can do several crazy things that human players cannot. One of these, is that they will parry with exactly the right attack, by aiming for your character's hurtbox, like 90-99% of the time. Bowser's forward smash is one of the easiest for Lv 9 CPUs to parry, and Lv 9 CPUs do almost anything and everything, to prevent getting hit by Bowser's forward smash.

Scieric I suppose. My only human interaction on Smash 4, has been For Glory. And of course, the lag bogs down the experience. Even on there, I only use the f-smash as a random, unexpected move. My playstyle with Bowser is, "slow and steady wins the race".

People on for glory run into a lot of random shit. Ahem. Forward, down, down-forward, A, you got hit by that why? For glory is dumb, but I have learned a few tricks about conditioning people, as people on for glory are very easy to condition.
