Also the Sigma 28-70mm is a great option for a much lighter yet optically really good lens at 470g if you are ok to lose 4mm off the wide end.

I was going to say the same about the 28-70mm. This lens is much more compact making it a great walk around /Holiday one lens set up.

Hi Matt, another great video. I use a Sigma 24 to 70 1 as my everyday lens, after walking around Sydney streets for 4 or 5 hours it does get very heavy. But worthwhile. I shoot at 2,8 with an ND from Urth, a briiliant Aussie company. Keep up the good work. Cheers .

Very very nice shots Matt. Nice models, great dresses and wonderful paintings. We have an annual body paint gig here in Amsterdam but compared to this and the Italian one you showed in the past our local Amsterdam gig is not more than a sad affair . Really enjoyed the images. Nice video Matt. I had a Leica 24-70 zoom lens, but traded it in with my SL2 (they were bundled together as a kit) to get a silver SL2 (perhaps it’s silly, but I like the look of the newer camera). I just got an SL3 and a used Leica 16-35 zoom lens. The latter is pretty hefty.

Gotta admit, compared to your usual work with vintage lenses, and the size of this thing.... I'm kinda meh on it. Sincerely.. I think a vintage 50 that's a fraction of the size.... better. IMO.. The shots before presents were.. pretty underwhelming. ANYWAY always love your work. Also.. check out that video that Omar G just put up with that big lens on his medium format.. Sick pictures.
