Manetric was one of my favorite megas in X/Y, and named mine Jake after the beagle I had growing up (who I had died about a year before the game's release). My best friend named his Houndoom Billy after his dog growing up, and they both fought side by side in the Maison. It felt right, and it made me well up a little; as much of a cunning food thief he was, I do miss that dog.

I don't know eletrike and Manetric are always such safe pics as our pokemon... one thing to notice is that pokemon RBY don't offer us many eletric pokemon to choose from... so they design the region to make it a nice experience for them... They give us shock wave and later thunderbolt, the route leading up to fortree is filled with flying type pokemon, and a flying gym leader... They are such nice fast and reliable pokemon. I tend to take my time catching a manetric in the wild. I love this pokemon
