Z-Mirror Coat was never really a thing, its only 100 base power which makes it only slightly stronger than Leaf Storm vs pokemon like Timburr and Z-Wring Out vs Foongus. If you were going to use a Z-Move you would use Breakneck Blitz because its more consistent and perhaps more importantly, it hits Vullaby also the part about speed ivs is incorrect, at level 5 in gen 7 you still couldnt reach 17 speed with hp fire

My first starter! Because I didn't save the game and even dropped my DS, it reset my progress. When I finally learned how to save, my snivy turned out to be a female snivy. I lost my game chip but snivy will forever remain as my favorite starter

In both Black and Black 2, my first try starter Snivy ended up being female, and I ended up being unable to bear the thought of ever resetting my game. Other coincidence I noticed later on, both were naughty natured, boosting their attack stat. Coil and leaf blade basically meant that when I encountered Cynthia for the first time, I never had the experience everyone else had of reliving old traumas, because spiriting seemed to love spamming double team, and coil just stared it in the face silently. I considered myself fortunate.

You should start over. Step 1) buy a gameboy advanced, buy cartridge for fire red, leaf green, ruby, sapphire, emerald Step 2) buy Pokémon colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of darkness for GameCube. (You can use cheat codes for the mythicals) After getting all 386 gen 3 mons and completing the national Dex, time to move to gen 4. Step 3) buy 2 DS, buy Pokémon diamond, pearl, and platinum. Get all the Sinnoh Pokémon, use cheats for the mythicals and transfer your old Pokémon from gen 3 through the Pal Park. Step 4) Remember you bought a 2nd DS? Well first buy Black, White, Black 2 and White 2, all four of these games. Get mythicals by cheats, complete the Unova Pokedex, and transfer your old Pokémon from the other DS. Step 5) now it's time to transfer all your 649 pokemon to Pokémon bank. Step 6) buy a 3DS, get X, Y, Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra moon Step 7) first get all the Pokémon in Gen 6 (X Y) and then gen 7 (SMUSUM) you can also buy Omega Ruby and Alpha sapphire which is a remake for gen 3. After getting all the mythicals by cheats and completing the Pokedex UpTo gen 7, transfer ALL of your Pokémon to Pokémon Home. Step 8) for gen 8, get a Nintendo switch, get sword and shield, buy the DLCS and get all gen 8 Pokemons and transfer them all to home. Step 9) wait for gen 9 to release. You can transfer your home pokemon to Pokémon Legends Arceus, which has a few new pokemon too, so you should check that out. Also, another remake brilliant diamond and shining pearl, I recommend. Remember you need to do all of this and transfer all your Pokémon to Pokémon Home from all the previous games (gen 3 - 8) Pokemon legends arceus and Brilliant diamond and Shining Pearl, and then wait for Gen 9 to come out in late 2022 so you could transfer all your Pokémon to gen 9. Oh, you must be wondering "what about gen 1 and 2" well, you can trade from gen 1 (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow) to gen 2 (Gold, Silver Crystal) you cannot trade from gen 2 to gen 3 because of the change in hardware. You can transfer Pokemon from the virtual console version of gen 1 and 2 to Pokémon home and then to the modern games (SWSH, PLA, BDSP) but, just keep them in Home until Gen 9 (Scarlet and Violet) comes out. I can second this. Scrafty does have a cool typing and a lot of powerful moves with great abilities. In the right hands it can be a real threat. That being said, I also feel bad for the mon. For as much as it had going for it, its typing and stats ironically also let it down. For example: After a D-Dance it was reasonably quick but not beyond outspeeding key threats. The dark/fighting typing let it have great stab coverage but it'd get crushed by one of the Gen 5 fighters that hit harder. And Gen 6 spat in its face with unaware clefable and the introduction of Fairy Typing. Yeah, I can see this being an interesting episode

Addendum: Servine has also had a small competitive career! In ORAS PU, Servine is a B rank Pokémon, and in ORAS ZU, it is a top tier Pokémon, offering sudden breaking capability alongside bulk, recovery, Defog, and paralysis support. In SM, Servine fell to the B ranks of ZU with the introduction of many new Grass types into the tier like Torterra and Leafeon or stronger Defogging sweepers like the Silvallies. If Servine is to come back in Generation 9, I highly doubt that it will succeed in any lower tier. The loss of Hidden Power is huge for Servine, preventing it from breaking through some of its checks, and the rising power creep will likely push it out of the tiered meta.

If the Snivy line did came back, they would get butchered hard due to Hidden Power being absent. Alot of Pokemons depended on Hidden Power to become great. Like Jolteon & Manectric. So it's best bet they don't return. Unless Gen. 9 gets Hidden Power back or at least give them some coverage movepools to stay as great as they were before. But in the meantime, the Snivy lines needs to be cautious.

Snivy has been my favorite Pokémon for about 9 years now. Ever since my birthday when my grandma bought me Pokémon black 2 on the DS. I still have my original starter to this day on my game cartridge, and when i want to do a new play through i put him in the transfer tool, start a new game, then add him back to my file. Back when I was younger I only used attack moves and no status so it has Frenzy plant, slam, energy ball, and Ariel ace. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Anyways, great surprise to wake up to on Sunday

How I used to deal with Snivy was by sending in my own Snivy then switching to a fire type. If they went for leaf storm they had hidden power ground, but if they didn't I would automatically know which hidden power they had. This would allow me to easily figure out their hidden power, and proceed to either threaten them with a powerful fire move or switch into another pokemon which could handle Snivy.

As much as I love Snivy, I think it's best the Snivy lines doesn't come back because of Hidden Power being absent. And I don't know if Gen. 9 will bring Hidden Power back. But if they do return and Hidden Power is gone forever, they gotta give them many coverage moves; while still having Contrary as an Hidden Ability, to become great again.

This might be a bit of a hot take, but while I like the Snivy line as Pokemon, I'm not fond of them as a starter line. It was designed to be completely reliant on its hidden ability and not have much else going for it (bad movepool and a relatively rough stat distribution that was overbalancing Contrary). As a stater, though, it didn't have access to Contrary throughtout the main game. Thus, people who started with Snivy was forced to primarily rely primarily on its worst aspects throughout the single player experience. I think this was the only time this was really a problem for a starter. For example, Scorbunny and Froakie were great Pokemon for their game, even without their hidden abilities, due to their respectable movepools and stats.

I might have not clarified in my earlier post, I'm moreso talking about the fact that Snivy struggles within the single player experience, where its status as a starter Pokemon is most important. With the exception of using Dual Screens and Coil (with Leaf Blade, Return, and...Aerial Ace?), Snivy is rough as a starter. The most comparable starter to Snivy is Chikorita, as it also has a lackluster movepool and is in a game where it has a rough start. However, Chikorita is actually a fine choice in Gold/Silver/Crystal, being respectably bulky after the early gym struggles (there is also a lackluster list of decent grass types in the 2nd gen games). Snivy is dealt a similar hand to Chikorita, as a starter, but almost never catches a break in Black/White. Snivy suffers from a crummy movepool and its stat distribution is rather awkward, HP is too low to effectively use its defenses and almost no offensive presence to back up its great Speed (as well as other decent grass options that you could use instead: like Leavany, Sawsbuck, and Lilligant). Froakie, Scorbunny, and Litten were fine in their respective games as starters, as they weren't clearly designed entirely around their hidden abilities, and they can function without them (yes, their HAs are entirely necessary in competative, but that's not exactly the point of this context). Snivy rides-or-dies with Contrary, and is completely designed around it. While that design is fine for a lot Pokemon, they tend to not be a starter. I feel that the Snivy line is the only starter line who is great competitively, while suffering as a starter. Also, yes, I know I'm talking about Snivy's single-player experience within a "Competitive History" video, but this video is what got me thinking about this. I also know that I'm absolutely over-analysing this, but different people play Pokemon differently, and I'm absolutely NOT saying that "you're wrong if you like Snivy".

and ofc i can't use it because moves without 100 acc hate me. and i don't have any way of fixing it since wide lens doesn't have enough of a boost and it's too fast to use zoom lens. side note: considering how good this thing is, i'm terrified of what they'll do with enamorus. she'll definitely have superpower and knowing what they did with v-create rayquaza they'll probably give her fleur cannon too.
