I stopped racing in 2004, but at that time the courses were still composed of gnar gnar and it always favored the best skills instead of the best fitness. No groomed BMX jumps or fire roads and open ski slopes, just off camber slope crossing and fresh wood sections that made your ass pucker Greg knows how to deal with the toughest of courses

Those fork settings are insane for the ordinary guy. It's just not gonna work for your average Joe doing your average speed with average physicality. I can see how most of it is probably bang on for a world cup rider but those rebound speeds seem a bit suss
