How Guilty People Get Cases Dismissed - Technical Arguments - Violation of Constitutional Rights

Case is a real case. Names and location, have been changed for obvious reasons. I did this off the cuff while reading the actual police report, hence the reason I'm looking down.
Note: no false arrest. Guilty of stealing. yet the case was dismissed.
Reality is guilty people are found innocent or have their charges dismissed often. Its not a perfect system but the players ( police, state attorneys, defense attorneys, judges) must play by the rules. There is a higher standard for the players.
Do you agree that charges should have dismissed?

Fresno County Sheriff's held my wife and daughter 7 hostage for 12 hours. One officer claimed to see me with a gun. They made My wife and 7 year old urinate on the side of the road. A gun was never found. Swat broke windows out of my house before getting a warrant and texted me the warrant. They also flew a drone to record into the broken windows without a warrant.

My dad was asked for ID by an Orlando Deputy at his house for a 911 misdial. Come to find out the number to the misdial was no one that lived at my dad's residence. Was this a violation of asking for his ID?

Thank you for this video. Is this a principle that could be held in civil proceedings like administrative hearings for code enforcement? Can defendants win on technicalities of improper procedure? I love the fruit of the poisonous tree arguments, but they don't seem to have the same weight in civil proceedings.
