As an "experienced lifter" I can confidently say that your are such an underrated creator. I've been humbled by some of the small but crucial information that you showcase in your work and it can really make a difference when all put together. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on powerlifting and form, also hope this helps the algorithim!

Brack Kringdorf is great at passing on information without making you feel like you’re being harangued. Keep it up!

This is my first time actually asking a question for the series, and I would be happy to be subjected to a harangue from you on the topic! What is the reason why you are not sinking your bench, and when should one sink their bench if ever? I am not too knowledgeable on the subject but from what I understand a lot of "heavier" lifters use a sink to help with explosiveness, but it can come with a trade-off of stability and a potential misgroove, I am eager to know where you stand on the spectrum. Thank you for all the content over the years!

Just to get a conversation going. Most lifters who sink compete in feds where you can raise the head. This lets you throw the bar better on the concentric. With the head down, most of the time any bounce you get from a sink n throw style gets diminished greatly at high %s unless you have a very high bodyfat.

Im relatively inexpetienced but in the recent years i started to sink my bench press. I noticed the following: - I was actually more consistant Because if a misgrove happened by touching the bar too low i managed to get it back up by using more leg drive - when i started to sink i alsi started to bench by having my heels on the ground - and you dont have to sink a lot of weight you can simply remain 90% of tension and let 10% sink
@tiborpuskar815211 ай бұрын
@@alexeyshilin7485 that's what I experienced too. I weigh only 80kg and pretty lean, but sinking about 15-20% of the load while loosening a bit of leg drive simultaneously seems to produce a lot more force, not having any misgrooves too, maybe I'm not strong enough for that to happen idk

As someone who's been harangued by different coaches throughout my time in different sports and powerlfiting how important is it for you to have a coach that's both informed and passionate about helping you? I've noticed in powerlifting even more so than in other sports personal drive dictates a lot more progression rather than the "best" program.

Bryce, Half man Half Harangutan……. Comedy… 🤦🏻 2 months into the training app and absolutely love it. I’ve seen insane results already but still curious on Warm up sets and stretching. How much is enough or to much and how do you approach your workout pre and post? Also hoping this becomes a thing in these questions but check out my homies band Methwitch from Albuquerque NM. ✌🏻

Love me a good harangue. When should I make it a point to focus on mobility in my training vs a consistent every day thing? I often mind myself focusing on to much mobility work to “feel” better but it can seep into total training time and next thing I know I’m doing 4+ hours a week doing mobility work. Thanks guys great video!

I've often harangued newbies in reddit about the minutiae of training. Nevertheless, I'm trying to do less of that. My question is what is your opinion on fatigue singles? For anyone else who might read this, fatigue singles is basically (as an example) doing 1 set of your backoff set BEFORE your top single, so that the overall quality of your back off sets (which is primarily the volume that pushes your single in the end anyway) and as a tool to not overshoot! I have in the past push myself so hard on a single and be gassed out on my back off sets that I have to progressively lower the weight because I'm gassed tf out. Also, there's like 1-3 information in the whole wide web that talks about (is somewhat of a new powerlifting term as well). Thank you for this! Song suggestion: Gert Taberner - Fallen

After some haranguing in the mirror about my 2024 goals, I finally signed up for coaching. As a coach, what are things that an athlete can do to make the coaching process as successful as possible?

So, as an old guy, I'm always haranguing the younger guys to not push so hard. That there's no hurry (esp for them being young), they are not going to the olympics just starting at 20 years old and it's all about consistency and putting the work in. So, how do you harangue your younger students to not burn out early and get injured, but follow the program and put in the work?

i dont want to harangue you.. but i hope you will see my question. i wonder how a process of your trainee looks like from start to finish (hopefully a long one)? what is your approach for making a good relationship with new clients and how do you set things up the best way possible for the long term?

Hello Bryce, i’d be happy to be harangued about this topic - How much do you think the comp equipment (bench, bars, squat rack, calibrated plates) matters ? So I’m living in a small town where is no actual powerlifting gym and it forces me to travel a lot if i want to use comp eq. How big of an impact on a lifter and his performance do a proper gym equipment have? Is it really something to consider and travel because of or is it not that important until one is really high level powerlifter ?

After listening to you harangue, a question popped into my head. It seems that you are always dealing with some pain or injury and I get that as an advanced powerlifter, it is sort of just a part of the sport. I am now finding myself in the same situation, when I push myself hard enough to progress, my body aches and asks for a break, from my shoulder bothering me on the bench, to my hip on the squat to the point I cannot lift heavy with no discomfort... but my strength is at an all time high. My biggest struggle currently is trying to find the balance between pushing hard to progress, and keeping my body healthy. How do you approach this seemingly impossible task, and do you ever see yourself being successfully strong and healthy at the same time ?

Harangue! Now that that’s out of the way, what are your thoughts on doing more volume on accessory work than the comp lifts, except for when in prep than pushing heavy volume in singles? Love from Montana and thanks for always making such great videos!

Please harangue me about this topic. I am at a stage now where my sumo deadlift is statistically on par with my conventional deadlift. I am currently 6 weeks out from meet day with one training block left in the calendar. I do however believe that im stronger on the sumo but i dont want to let conv go just yet. Can i pick and choose what stance i opt for for my deadlift days or is it better to stick with one to build momentum with. Wishing you luck for qualifiers!

Lately with the, usapl and ipf split, uspa decay, usapl internationalizing, etc. There's been big changes in the Powerlifting feds, and athelte migrations, and makes me wonder where is this sport heading, do you think we need less or more Federations? Do you think IPF Powerlifting making it into the olympic would be the best outcome for the sport? Harangue

For accessories, I just skip them when I'm bored or too tired. They're necessary, but not critical. If deads fried me, no reason to kill myself further.
