These people don't have enough sense to not wear sandals and gowns inside a dangerous metal shop with multi ton presses and high speed metal laths or even to put a simple grinder on a stand instead of on the ground. This is an extremely dangerous shop that these men are working in and they're taking an incredible gamble with their lives and limbs working here. I've worked in metal shops for decades and I wouldn't set foot inside that shop no matter what the pay... and you can bet that these guys are not making any real money for what they're doing. The workers ignorance is their employers bliss!

There is handmade lathe, the motor connect with rubber belt with the lathe.

He's welding on metal clamped in the chuck of the lathe, with the ground current flowing through the chuck of the lathe, through the frame of the lathe back to the welder, since he has no ground lead on the rim. This means that the entire current of the welder is arcing across through the spindle bearing of the lathe, burning and pitting the bearing with as much current as the arc at the welding rod. This reduces the life of the bearing, and makes the lathe get sloppy, and can be avoided by simply attaching a ground lead to the rim before welding on it.

Эти парни никогда не останутся без работы, так делая диски. Часть диска прилегающая к ступице самая нагруженная, соответственно метал там должен быть толще, а они ещё на токарном тонше сделали.
