Wow, at 11:22, that woman in those clothes looks remarkable. Her brown skin with the same tone and sheen as the buttery brown leather is very striking. A breathing minimalist masterpiece.

I’ve not tried Jardin de Med but if it’s as nice as Concentre d’orange verte I’ll have to try it. I love that fragrance so much

I’ve found myself shopping more at Hermes in recent years, partly due to the clear ‘greedflation’ that seems to dominate other luxury houses. Prices at many brands have dramatically surged without any substantial justification-no better materials, craftsmanship, or more complex design. Simultaneously, many brands seem to be cutting corners in production and favor designs that are less technically demanding. As a customer, you simply feel cheated. When prices at other lesser brands approach-or sometimes even exceed-those at Hermes, I might as well just shop at Hermes.

Especially Hermes can repair their bags, other brands don't even offer repairs.
@Oliverbae12 ай бұрын
@@mr.ryan.nguyen Exactly - they truly believe in their offerings without resorting to extorting their customers further. I love how they station their original artisans at each major locations for the repairs. You pay for a premium, but they stand behind your purchases and support you. Their RTW is also really under-rated, and I love Pierre Hardy's works. I was recently at Hermes Faubourg on a business trip - they brought a tailor down without me asking and helped perfected the fit; they somehow had the alterations completed before I had to leave France; they also hand delivered my purchases to my hotel so I do not have to carry my items while going about town for the day - all these were offered automatically without me having to worry about additional charges.

Yes "greedflation" is exactly it! I feel you on being cheated and see why Hermes is the way to go. Thank you for watching❤

Hermes clothing is underrated, both creative director make good design. Their clothing give the same quality as max mara, zegna and loro piana.

The thing I love about Hermes is they are a true luxury brand worth investing in. It’s aspirational and everything is worth the money because of the quality and craftsmanship. True investments that hold value over time. Other “luxury” brands are more like cash grabs - low quality items that don’t hold value.
@MarysRoom2 ай бұрын
So true! Cash grab is exactly how these luxury brands feel. Thank you for watching❤

I am not surprised at these results. Slow and steady plus the Hermes Game. I am surprised they don't have sunglasses. They could easily charge $600 and up and offer separate exotic cases for thousands of dollars. Those wanting to play the game should buy a watch because that category is underperforming and they would look positively on clients that could help with this category in particular.
@MarysRoom2 ай бұрын
Ohh would love to see them do sunglasses! So right about the cases. Ohh good point about the watches and the game👀 Thank you so much for watching❤

A bit like Chanel is the ultimate fashion house, Hermes is the ultimate luxury house. I'm not surprised. Hermes is about status, it's a safe bet for any luxury client. It's a taste everybody understand and in terms of monetary value, it never decreases. What i think is clever is how the SAs have build that strategy to create a purchase history with clients in order to get the quota bags. I don't know if the Hermes model can be reproduced. It would be very boring for the fashion industry if everybody was doing that. However, a brand like Chanel could be inspired to have a more circular production chain. Hermes is the same size as Dior now and is now bigger than Gucci. Chanel and Vuitton are on the top of the food chain. I wonder if in this climate they haven't reached a peak. 20 billion for 1 house is already insane.

Ohh yes great points! Hermes is the ultimate luxury! Agree this is a unique business model for Hermes. I can see them hitting 20B at their own pace. Thank you so much for watching❤️

Now the over marketing of Hermes. People are starting to wake up to these greedy-game-playing luxury brands. I have some Hermes leather pieces..nice, but it's boring.
