"When you come close to the finish line there's no better feeling." So true man. There's always that bittersweet feeling when you finally wrap up a project you've been invested in

Hey Mike, at 32:26 he says Guerilla Games made the engine for the game (They sent the cake for the celebrations) so perhaps the anim software is theirs? Nice breakdown of the video btw!

@@Desmo904 thanks desmo yeah I saw that what was cool is the guys at guerilla games gave it to them for free in a cool box willing to share their engine with his team free that’s awesome

Watching this video in retrospect with you commentating and after a few years of the games release is interesting. I think Death Stranding is great, but it definitely misses the mark on some things. This is a case where the chef definitely needed other cooks in the kitchen. Either way we have to respect the man and his willingness to do something completely different in the industry. You should play it!

@@TurtlePops yeah I can see your feelings on that and agree with some of it for sure. Because most of the people I spoke to say the game was boring and the hated all the traversal and feeling like an over rated delivery boy. I totally agree that things like gameplay and it being a fun experience in all aspects is super important and I think your right he probably should have listened or people should have spoken up around him to let him know it was a bit much here and there or things are not reading in that moment ect. It’s a hard blend that needs to happen. Having an awesome creative director is more than just his vision in the end. But you also have to be careful not to let to many ideas and things in and that make it messy and in coherent

also about Rockstar I really wish they'd film and release the behind the scenes bits, that would be incredible to watch. I think there are some videos from Vice City, and you could watch and react and compare on how the games were made 20 years ago. What do you think York?
