Holland is a pure example of talent, and sexual orientation doesn't matter when it comes to music and art, it's the concept of gender and norms of society that decides for people, that takes a toll on talented people like Holland.. imagine how many such artist loses their ambitions just because the K-pop industry doesn't accept anyone belonging to the LGBTQ+ community.. I'm so proud of Holland, he has a brave heart, and I'm sure he's an inspiration to many others too... ❤️

If you live in a country that either doesn't really care or where it is protected maybe. Or you could live in places like Chechnya and tell people its universal while they dissapear you. Im not trying to be too serious or vulgar, but everyone who is like us has to remember that we are still tortured to death for just being us. As a first world country, Korea seems so backward in LGBT rights and this should definitely change so it's nice to support artists like Holland and many others like Amber as they represent the Korean society seeing a change towards LGBT acceptance ♡♡♡

Holland earned his title by being himself and not falling for the expectations and stereotypes of being an idol. Many idols tear down everything they are to rebuild themselves into what their “supposed to be” but Holland didn’t rebuild. He grew. He filled in every crack someone else left in him and blossomed! missed my baby SO MUCH! as always he looks so adorable and damn handsome and cute! IDK how he does it all at the same time! and honestly such a thorough and well-executed interview with great questions and insights this was. It was at 1st disappointing for me to hear the percentage is 57 but then I had a look back at 2013 or so Korea and KPOP and I have to say that's such an improvement! I hope with all the yt channels from Korea and KBLs and lgbtq contents made by Koreans awareness growth double the amount and more and another country joins the others where lgbtq people can be free and express themselves as they wish.

I think it's inspiring that Holland put in the money and time into making Neverland. A lot of people did not want to invest in him or believe in him. I admire him for having the guts to come out as gay. From experience I believe that in order for anyone from the LGBTQ to feel right is for the person to accept himself or herself first. One has to accept his sexuality to be happy. Here in the Phil. there's a big number of LGBTQ members. Not being straight is no sin. We are all creatures of an almighty being hence we should treat each other with respect no matter what our sexual choice is. Happiness can only be attained if we know or learn to accelt ourselves. This is what I teach my grandchildren and their friends.

I literally cried because Holland had to go through all of this. I also cried what BTS had to go through just to become a K-pop Idol. I totally suppoet them because I dont't think it is wrong to like someone of the same gender. No matter who you love or which gender you love in the end it's all about love. A week ago holland got beaten by a stranger when he went for a walk outside and I was like this is not right. you can't beat someone if they are of the LGBTQ community. People can't judge them just like that. This topic should be brought up in secondary schools, High school and univerisities. They would be old enough to understand what LGBTQ is aand young people like them should be aware of these kind of things then only the LGBTQ communinty will get popular around the world.

I don't know what making it is to you, but being an artist of any kind and being featured on VICE would be pretty up there for me. The first time I was published by a small poetry zine that only rotated in my city, I straight felt half famous. Only around 800 copies sold.
