Brad - you should look at “one skin “ a disruptive topical skin product developed by 4 women PhD skin researchers The narrowed a library of 2,000 peptides to 2 with lab results of in vitro epithelium forming NEW skin stem cells - AND scavenging zombie cells after 40 days 2x per day Plus highly effective for hydration I’m 69 as we age up with fat loss bone loss muscle loss skin laxity The most effective protocol I have found is VIVACE RF micro-needle with PRP/SELPHYL which is a calcium carbonate that formed a lattice upon which newly formed collagen “hangs “ the RF forces the production of new collagen in the dermis and mesoderm This procedure can be combined with a COOLPEEL laser resulting in skin tightening and elimination of most fine lines , marionette lines and furrows The combined procedure is about $3,500 and recovery down time is only about 3 days

In 2014 I was taking 4 to 6 hyaluronic acid supplement pills a day and I do believe it helped to plump my skin nicely, however I also have Spondylolisthesis in my spine with one vertebrae and after taking the HA for about 3 months I developed a synovial cyst in the joint of the vertebrae that is slipped forward. I am suspect that all the HA supplements I took for my skin had a big hand in the synovial cyst developing. The cyst pushed on my spinal nerves causing severe sciatic pain. I had 5 spinal steroid injections for pain management and they tried to drain the cyst as much as possible to cut down on the pressure on my spinal nerves. I do think HA supplements work but be careful not to over do them like I did (in case it did cause the development of the synovial cyst which I believe is highly likely)

Thank you for sharing. I hope you're feeling better:) My work friend has something similar with one of his vertebrae and have experimented with a few different strategies. His doctor said daily exercise. Because of his squashed disk, I recommended the nutrients approach to have what the disk needed to try correct itself. He doesn't take any supplements, but I'll mention to him about being cautious with dosages especially with this one, so your information gets passed on well and help others.

However the real dramatic effect has been on by shins, calves and heels. Every winter they turn dry, cracked and ugly. Yeah, but for the first study where they put something on the skin, even if you simply apply common duct tape to a wrinkle overnight, once you take off the tape in the morning, you will have the appearance of removed wrinkles for about an hour. So, if they measured right after they took off the thing, the results are virtually without merit. They were even measuring with it on, so not sure how they can ensure it did not reduce the wrinkles itself.

Touching base on the cancer subject, recently scientists from the Institute of Cancer Research in London realized/discovered, because hyaluronic acid is a sugar based molecule, fuels cancer especially pancreatic cancer. Specifically talking about what naturally occurs in the body and supplement form. Aside from fueling tumors, It has been found to play a major role of the density of pancreatic cancer tumors and other types of cancer tumors making it harder to deliver cancer drugs to the tumor. Also, when glucose and other forms of sugar isn't available to provide energy, cancer feeds off Uridine-derived sugar from RNA rich foods, especially pancreatic cancer. It has been known for years that cancer feeds off sugar, all forms of sugar. When one form of sugar isn't available, cancer uses the next form for fuel. What took scientists so long to "realize" that? “If it'd been a snake it would have bit them!” Uridine, is found at different levels in meat including organ meat, seafood, fish, legumes, broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, asparagus, soybeans and soy-based products, whole grains, nuts and seeds, dairy products, beer, bakers, nutritional and brewers yeast. As far as hyaluronic acid goes, so far the molecular weight matters. High molecular weight is great for hydration, joint health, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, . It's the low and medium molecular weight hyaluronic acid that has great concern. This is a recent breakthrough for all types of cancer especially pancreatic cancer and breast cancer!
@chip2881

This is a welcome message because of many unsubstantiated H.Acid messages seen on the internet, other than at this site. Re: reaching deeper layers of skin. Castor oil is reputed to be a general cathartic. When applied to the skin, castor oil is said to penetrate through the skin completely and then drive various detritus toward the nearest lymph duct, effectively cleaning the skin and the subcutaneous layers. If true, could castor oil behave as a carrier and drive H. Acid into subcutaneous layer ? Cleopatra was said to have used castor oil, and they say she was a beautiful Egyptian Queen with many suitors. Edgar claims to have cured many conditions with castor oil between 1900 and 1943, including scleroderma, a lethal skin condition.

@@Always-xl9db Thanks for that input. I stopped using DMSO due to a reported incident in an ER where the entire ER staff was disabled and I think one nurse died. The patient was on DMSO, and when oxygen was administered, a nerve gas was released by the patient's body that poisoned the entire air in the ER (emergency room). Google: "WILL DMSO AND OXYGEN FORM A POISONOUS GAS IN THE ER" (DMSO + oxygen in blood)

How about taking more Hyaluronic acid rich foods? Soy foods such as tofu, soy chunks, soy milk and citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits contain the most hyaluronic acid. Also, tuber vegetables such as potatoes and sweet potatoes, and green leafy vegetables are excellent sources of hyaluronic acid.

Plant-based foods are toxic, especially ultra processed plant-based foods. Soy is probably the worst plant of them all, right up there with gluten in terms of things that are not fit for human consumption. Instead, eat lots of grass-fed beef and pasture-raised eggs. Problem solved.

At 3:16, the Japanese company name that you pronounced was not correctly spoken. You pronounce it Kew ( like a long Q) and pie part of its pronounciation is say long sound of P. Now, you got the Japanese tounge to say "Kewpie" properly. 😘 By the way, the Kewpie Corporation is well known company for the Japanese mayonnaise. I bumped into some German ladies who were going crazy in buying their mayonnaise in Germany 🇩🇪. I asked them what they like about the product among rest of other mayonnaise production makers out of curiosity. They told me that the Japanese mayonnaise from the Kewpie has more eggs and the flavor wasn't oily in compared to other mayonnaise available at local German supermarkets. In short, people who live outside of Japan can find such mayonnaise definitely at Japanese supermarket try out this , and I am pretty sure that you could find it at Asian stores. Anyway, I better listen to your presentation further on the hyalronan relieves wrinkles... 😎🥳👍❤️ You know that is also good for your eyes, in case you haven't looked into other subject areas of specialists' studies. Thank you doctor! I am going to check out on the hyaluronan details in-depth. We got so much to learn about the unknowns... 😋 But, for scientific research studies, perhaps your ways of pronounciation may be also correct in serving the purposes of encryption and decode of such encrypting method of understanding. I find it simply 😎 cool.

Doc, 1st, You claim that the 2017 study used both LMWHA and HMWHA appears false. By the definitions, shown later in your presentation, of LMWHA (of less than or equal to 50kDa) and HMWHA (of greater than or equal to 1000 kDa or simply 1Mda) the higher molecular weight HA used in the 2017 study had a value of 300 kDa so is neither LMWHA (below 50 kDa) nor HMWHA (above 1000 kDA) . I'd say ,based upon the 2 definitions that 300kDA is "Medium MWHA". 2nd, your claim that HA was found to be good for osteoarthritis of the knee is, at best, in doubt. The study you cited, appears to be from: "The effect of oral low molecular weight liquid hyaluronic acid combination with glucosamine and chondroitin on knee osteoarthritis patients with mild knee pain" An 8-week randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial - Wang, Shyu-Jye MDa,b,∗; Wang, Ya-Hui MDc; Huang, Liang-Chen MD. For which they used a combination of liquid LMWHA with glucosamine and chondroitin. in their discussion they say and I quote, "Yet, it is of importance to note that the oral liquid supplement in our study is a combination of low molecular weight HA with molecular weight between 5 × 104 and 5 × 105 Da, glucosamine, and chondroitin sulfate. As the supplement contains glucosamine and chondroitin which are usually consumed as chondro-protective agents,[25] the potential effects of ingredients other than HA on knee OA symptom relief cannot be denied." I watched the TED talk associated with the HMWHA like you use from Do Not AGE. I believe the Ted Talk presenter may have something to her proposal that the naked mole rats long lifespan may be related to HMWHA and I believe that shar-pei dogs extremely low incidence of cancer might be related to HMWHA (1MDa or above). You seem to be making a point that LMWHA may help against skin wrinkles, I doubt that anyone has a problem buying that. But why do you mention HMWHA at all. And mention arthritis that may just be responding to glucosamine and chondroitin, a commonly used treatment for joint problems? And even if the arthritis thing is, at all, associated with HA, its LMWHA. This presentation is very confusing and misleading and makes me wonder about your association with that "DO NOT AGE" company influencing the quality and even the veracity of your presentations. I will continue to watch your presentations as I do believe I have learned some things from some of your presentations. However, my faith in you credibility has been severely shaken by this (and a few other presentations that I did not comment on). Early on you gave me the impression that you were a highly ethical, if idealistic, intelligent young man interested in the longevity space... however you appear to be getting influenced by the AMA, sponsers and perhaps other interests. I still like you, but I feel obliged to bring this up.
