Me and my husband experienced 2 losses prior to my current pregnancy. It was hard because I kept stressing and tracking trying to get pregnant again. Each month I would cry with every negative test. When I thought I was pregnant I immediately when to get tested by my pcp because I was sure that I was based off symptoms on my period tracker. Once my test came back negative, I cried in the office. My pcp felt bad and hugged me and said just have fun, disconnect those trackers and listen to your body. Once he said that I get rid of my trackers and enjoyed the moments with my husband. The following month I became pregnant at the age of 40. This is after being told that I was too old by a fertility clinic and that I had less than 25% of getting pregnant. I decided to go to another fertility clinic a week before I found out I was pregnant and was told that at 40 years old my egg count was of a 20 yr old and my husband swimmers were 50% above the average man and he's 44 yrs old. I feel life always finds away regardless of age. Congratulations again.

The guys age matters as well. I was 38 when I conceived. My partner was in his 20s. At 35 and after you are considered a geriatric pregnancy and they use genetic testing. They advised even if I was younger and he was 40 and over they would have done the testing as well because sperm from and older man can lead to issues with the baby as well.

Shan, not sure if you're gonna see this but just wanted to say- I've think I've been watching you for about 4/5 years (since I was 17, now almost 22!), you've taught me SO MUCH about sexual health, confidence, personal growth, love, emotions AND even allowing me to embrace/not be ashamed of my beautiful and deeply loving open relationship. You are the most eloquent person I have ever heard/listened to; the way you can express yourself and communicate such complex thoughts and ideas whilst being so honest with your emotions, it's really so beautiful and inspirational. So for that, I want to finally say a MASSIVE THANK YOU for everything: your content, just being you(!!), and to everything you have shared. Also, of course, a massive congratulations on your pregnancy, I am so happy for you and this new phase of life you're in! You and Jared are going to be incredible parents. Looking forward to your future content (srsly every time you put something out I get so excited to hear even more of your wisdom!), Can't wait to keep supporting you and keep growing with you. Many congrats again!! Allllll the love, xox

The tale of how I ended up as a mom to 4 kids under 4.5yrs old. I have 3 kids and I'm currently 22wks pregnant. So 4 conceptions. With my oldest we werent trying but we werent preventing either. We were very much of the mindset "itll happen when its supposed to". We werent even tracking my cycle. When I conceived life was chaotic. Just moving out of my parents, and they were moving several hours away. Our place wasnt ready yet so went to stay with my Father-In-Law for a few weeks. 2 weeks in he moved from a studio to a 2bdrm so we ended up moving 3 times in 6wks. Second baby I conceived 7.5 months after having my first. I was on birth control and had been on that birth control since 6 months post partum. (When breastfeeding your options for contraception is limited in the first 6 months. I tried the mini pill but it made me psychotic) I was taking it 100% correctly and had taken it in the past. My period became really regular after delivery. Like a day or two before my period was to start we had sex. Then I ended up having to have emergency surgery the day my period started. A couple weeks later I started feeling really off. I have moderate antepartum (before pregnancy) and severe peripartum (during pregnancy) depression. Was told I'd get postpartum depression but I didnt. I actually had NO depression. For the first time since at least 9yrs old I had literally no depression. Then all of a sudden i was hit with the worst depression I've ever expierenced. I couldnt find the cause. I got the idea in my head randomly to take a pregnancy test even though I was still 2+wks out from my period, my last period was right on time and I'd been super diligent about my birth control. Knew itd be negative but needed to rule it out as the cause for the depression. Shockingly, it came up positive right away. Drs says most likely something about the surgery made me ovulate then and since we had shortly before, the egg was fertilized. Fast forward to a year after I had that baby, and my husband and I were celebrating that we made it one year without getting pregnant again. Yay! We broke the pattern. But only technically because I conceived baby number 3 a couple weeks later. That one was our own stupidity. We relocated out of necessity right after baby 2 was born (thanks to the Tubbs and Nunn fires). Even though we had adequate health insurance every drs office had a several month wait and there were no free or low cost clinics like planned parenthood so I couldnt get birth control and I think we just got lazy with trying to track as my periods were irregular. After having that baby, we decide to not risk it. I get on birth control pretty quickly and again am diligent about taking it correctly. We relocated back down to where we're from and are staying with FIL again with all 3 babies in our room, so sex was very infrequent. I also utilized plan b when it felt appropriate. I still ended up pregnant at 6 months post partum. My husband us getting fixed asap. And we recently found my family carries the BRCA gene mutation so I will be getting either a hysterectomy or at the very least my tubes removed.

When I was 30 I had my first child.. I married young and we had tried for 7 years and I tried but not really for about 4 then we went through a rough patch and I thought forget it I will stop trying because I was stressed out and prescribed fertility drugs which made my hormones crazy, then 2 years later at 30 I had my first child and I was told at the time I was high risk and my body was in a lot of stress, then when my daughter was a little over a year old I was pregnant again..I have 2 beautiful girls..Both of my pregnancies were high risk but I got through it. My partner and I were TTC for a few months so I was tracking my periods and my ovulation and “keeping the sperm in for... blah blah”. Well what ended up happening is that my body skipped a period (which made me think I was pregnant- I wasn’t yet). But THAT made me lose track of my cycle which is when we actually conceived. I’m a little over 9 weeks today. It took me to STOP tracking and trying so hard to get pregnant.... to get pregnant. lol baby dust to any ladies trying ✨✨✨✨ and congrats to all the new or soon to be mamas.

The way you concieved is beautiful. My husband and I used the pull out method since day one. I am not really sure why, looking back, that was really dumb. But luckily nothing happened untill we were ready. Three years into our relationship we started following my cycle as a form of birth control, because we still kind of wanted to wait, but also we weren't scared of me getting pregnant. So I ended up getting pregnant. :) and now we have 3 month old twins. I love our story because it just sort of happened and it turned out so great. The moment I found out I was pregnant I wanted the baby so much. And after hearing the two heartbeats.. Uh, those were my babies right there and then at my first check up, we wanted them sooo bad. And now we do. :) they are perfect. ❤️

But when we weren't trying we got pregnant! I wasn't even aware until the 14 wk U/S. Congrats to you and your hubby! Don't worry about your age you're still at a great age for having a baby. Statisticscally I too was a "high risk" pregnancy age 36 and part of the group prone to gestational diabetes and pre eclampsia etc. I could have allowed that to freak me out but I knew that wouldn't be good for the baby. I had a peaceful, happy uneventful pregnancy. That was 3 years ago. Eat well, rest and avoid negative people and you'll be good

So happy for you two! I had my first at 25 YO. Then at 30, I decided to be a surrogate and carried 2x for friends of mine. I’ve always wanted more children. I even saw myself with 4 kids but I’m single. Going through those pregnancies and managing great on my own, I decided to try for a 2nd. My first really wanted a sibling and had been asking for years. I found a donor, tracked my cycle and we tried to conceive for months. He was told he might not be fertile from a previous injury and we are from 2 different provinces (Canada) and our health coverage was difficult to manage if going to a fertility clinic. I did go and get some tests done and after many unsuccessful months I made an appointment for us both and we would mange the coverage eventually. Well I got pregnant and found out a few days before it. I couldn’t believe it after so many negative tests! I’m now 26 weeks along and although this pregnancy is physically difficult (baby is great but it’s been 3 pregnancies in a short period...) I’m so happy. My son will have 10 years difference with his baby sister. ❤️

I was diagnosed with Uterine Cancer and we tried the IUD to shrink my endometrial lining how ever my body didn't want the IUD. So its been a long journey... for my mental spiritual and emotional health I just stopped trying and I'm learning to let go and let God.

I'm 48y/o. I always wanted to be pregnant and give birth. I admire women who can bring life into this world. I've been celibate for 20yrs. I had resigned myself to a life of celibacy and singleness, because I had such bad experiences. I did the Game of Desire book/workbook and still felt things would not happen for me after moving from DC to Cali. (Cali dating world really made me throw in the towel). I believed I would be traveling the world with my amazing single friends. Then COVID happened and I found myself stuck in CA waiting for contract/travel jobs (I do physical therapy) but the travel jobs were gone and I was stuck in CALI with no job, no income, no unemployment. I met my guy, through the lady I am renting a room from, and we have been doing well, until I had a pregnancy scare. Even though i had ALWAYS wanted kids, I had resigned myself to that not happening for me (I always wanted to be pregnant and give birth). Our recent pregnancy scare made me hope again, for something that is highly unlikely to happen for me. He is 31. I want him to have the experience of creating a child and raising a child he created. I am not the person who is willing to put my body through things to have a child. Although I would LOVE to give him a child...no matter how much I am fighting that desire and hope....I do realise, the likelihood of me naturally having a baby is very slim. Yes, God is able, but I am also realistic. So to the women who have good men in their lives......and you KNOW he is GREAT father/husband material, hold on to him. If not, don't waste time... be available for THE man. You never know what you may miss. For me, its the chance of given birth to a child, without going through and mirage full of tests and treatments. God is able, if that is His plan.

Researching, understanding, and application. This is my life as well! I so needed this. This makes me feel so much better with trying to conceive. I am in the same boat. I was hurt for three months with the method of going with the flow. I work better when I am intentional. Thanks for sharing and congratulations!! :)

The reason I didn’t add is bc I think everyone should do their own research and I don’t want to be publicly promoting any product that people ingest that I don’t know the full ins and outs of. There’s even seed cycling as a way to balance, it’s an easy google just make sure u click several links. U can also check out Dr Rishma’s KZbin channel as she is a fertility specialist (*i am not) and she speaks a lot about this

There are multiple supplements and herbs that can accomplish this. With anything you are putting into your body, do research. Vitex is a very common supplement taken to balance hormones as well as DIM and Maca Root.

Thank you for sharing your story ❤️ In my late 20s I wanted to have a baby, but I learned it was in a sense selfish. Now at 30, I don’t think I am healed enough or self aware enough to be a parent and allow my child to have their own spiritual journey without my our issues spilling onto him or her. This video give me hope that maybe in a couple years it will change again ❤️

This is so cool! My pregnancy was unplanned. I was crazy about tracking in hopes to not conceive lol. I happen to not be on top of checking my window and had unprotected sex. Immediately after I knew that I had messed up and was probably pregnant because I was ovulating. Weeks later I missed a period and made an appointment with my gynecologist to confirm.

I’m currently 8 months pregnant right now. I’m so excited for this new journey in my life with my husband. We got pregnant naturally, but the funny thing is I wasn’t trying to get pregnant. We’ve been together for about 6 years now and we always did the pull out method. That obviously worked. But my partner decided on his very own he was ready for a family. It came to a total surprise to me because I really wasn’t expecting it to happen. But nevertheless I’m very happy and overly grateful that God bless me with the ability to conceive.

I can relate to challenges and goals having extra effort. I joked about nothing ever being easy for me that I manifested nothing being easy for me. I have a research step, a trial run step, an error step, a plan B, C and D prep step and a dial-a-friend step. It's definitely a process living life as a process. I'm glad that you two finally have a little one to share not just your blessings and knowledge, but your lessons and wisdom. May Creation continue to bless your growing family

that one about seeing the grandma in the dream...I have a similar story. my grandma is a dream interpreter and my mum told her that she had a dream about sitting in a house full of millions of coins but she was so hungry. My grandma laughed and said “you better go to the hospital!” 👀🤣 she went to the hospital and found out she had lil me in there 😂💕 I will cherish that story foreverrrr
