Ay you’ll get there fam. After your leg stuff hold a deep squat in between sets. It forces your muscles to build up better lactic acid tolerance so as you get stronger you can tolerate more volume which allows you to get stronger faster

Hello Nick. Great video. I'm sixty years old. Never occurred to me back in the day, '80s while in college, to manage my expectations or to focus on lower body strength training. I'm glad you detailed this in your video, very helpful, as you said "It is what it is." I wish I did when I was younger to work more on the legs. I started running again 8 months ago while after living life (family, career and so on - that every one has gone through or will go through) and I will include strength training. You're ahead of the game don't stop. You're my example. Thank you.

When things were at their very worst: 2 Suns, Cross in the sky, 2 comets will collide = don`t be afraid - repent, accept Lord`s Hand of Mercy. Scientists will say it was a global illusion. Beware - Jesus will never walk in flesh again. After WW3 - rise of the “ man of peace“ from the East = Antichrist - the most powerful, popular, charismatic and influential leader of all time. Many miracles will be attributed to him. He will imitate Jesus in every conceivable way. Don`t trust „pope“ Francis = the False Prophet - will seem to rise from the dead - will unite all Christian Churches and all Religions as one. One World Religion = the seat of the Antichrist. Benedict XVI is the last true pope - will be accused of a crime of which he is totally innocent. "Arab uprising will spark global unrest - Italy will trigger fall out" "Many events, including ecological upheavals, wars, the schism in My Church on Earth, the dictatorships in each of your nations - bound as one, at its very core - will all take place at the same time." The Book of Truth.

Great stuff! I agree, sticking with max strength variables as opposed to hypertrophy variables is the way to go for hybrid training. That’s typical for “in season” athletes to avoid too much muscle fiber breakdown and thus, decreased performance and/or injury. I was hitting PRs during track workouts 3 days after my heavy leg day. CNS was absolutely primed!!!

If you are doing lots of volume but want to train legs more, you could also do less strenuous leg exercises on your 2nd session. Like instead of heavy squats you do sled push/pulls, some pylometrics, body weight exercises, keep it low volume but max effort. I like to work single leg and stability and explosiveness on my second session.

Honestly for only doing 1 sale a year. 20% is not much to go bragging about. Most sites are pushing 40-60% off. Saving 6 dollars on a $30 jar of supplements just to pay like $10 in shipping is not getting the wildest sale..

I do have a question, it’s been 4 weeks now since my 100 miler and I’m STILL recovering! How long did you wait before amping up for another race? I have found I can only run for about 30 minutes before little aches and pains return! Thanks!
