Sorelle thank you for sharing the steps that you feel like you’ve taken. I bought your last course and tried to implement it with a friend on the road and it failed but this reminds me that that is just a step of learning and that I know so so much more than I ever did 1-2 years ago. My brain is constantly wandering nowadays about all new ideas and plans and ways of making money that I could enjoy. And honestly, it’s barely involving KZbin anymore. Thank you because I honestly feel like you’ve given me most of the roots of the thoughts that I’ve developed today. Only looking forward to the future because I’ve quit so many jobs, left people that didn’t support me and my journey, and gone against everything everyone has told me. I’ve been at rock bottom and that’s when I thrive. I’ve known since middle school that I’m destined for something different than the “normal” and I know I’m still just getting starting on figuring out exactly what other path I’m on. Thank you sorelle. You’ve freed me.

I think it's worth noting that freedom looks different for different people at different points in their lives. Freedom is a state of mind, a real sense of having choice, and that can be achieved so many different ways; this way that most of us think of, in 9-5s that really serve us, travelling externally, travelling internally. Freedom is just being able to do what you want when you want to do it and knowing you have the choice. And choosing to work a 9-5 so you can learn and create opportunities for yourself is a choice, choosing to live in a van, running around forests for the fun of it is a choice, choosing to stay in one place so you can go deeper with what's around you is a choice, choosing to explore the world and find new adventures is a choice, choosing to shift and change in any way is a choice. Bravery and trust in yourself and connection to your inner knowing is the key to get there. You know deep down what you need and no one person's journey will look the same as another's ❤✨

When this video first came out, I recognized immediately what you were saying, and my heart jumped at it. I put it in my video list and couldn't watch it for a long time because I was stuck working full time in survival mode and felt such a deep anger and hurt at my situation. After working my brains out doing landscape construction over the summer, I'm now spending winter on ei, taking care of my body and working on my skills and interests. I'm developing my 2024 strategy for self-education, writing and photography skills (which I love!!), and for my various "channels" (blog, KZbin). I'm noticing an issue that's burning me. It's not about how I'll make the money or find the people. It's that the energy I'm putting into this looks like it will only be enough, for a time at least, to make me free, and not my husband and I both. If I focus on him, I lose energy for myself and I struggle to continue. He is in the exact same boat as I am, with the same desires for freedom, and is more than willing to do what it will take. We want to raise a child or two in freedom. We have a very healthy, independent and beneficial relationship with each other. So how do I ask my burning question of a free human... hopefully you'll understand me. I don't feel like I'm fully free if my 'freedom' does not free my immediate family. Is there a way I can make this 'bigger' in a really effective way without compromising myself? Might it be possible? Do you have examples of couples working together towards and in freedom? Am I just missing something? I came out with more questions than I thought lol but it's the same situation. Thank you so much for taking questions Sorelle. I'm very grateful.

During my hardest time yet.. After 3 years of being in an unfulfilling relationship, that tore me down and broke my dreams; I had no choice but to leave, feel pain and grow. The relationship was destructive to my future, I had to sell the house, fix his mess, we separated our dogs..it was all so hard. And I didn't want to do it. Panic attacks left and right. Moved into an unfinished basement that was a mess. Because I made that difficult step, that entire year I grew so much. A movement lab became my sanctuary, no matter how exhausted or tired I was..I moved. The people there helped me heal by expressing my pain in artistic flow. It was my therapy. And around that year, early 2021 was when I stumbled on your videos Sorelle. It's amazing to see how far you've gone. Your guidance on self awareness, intuition, really helped. Thank you for being you! An inspiring human =) Can't wait to see the rest of the series!

Thanks for this Sorelle. Inspiring as usual ✨ My favourite part is where you mention the risk of being triggered by your content. I've seen this happening so many times, and feel like there is an unspoken uncomfortable truth hanging in the air when you confront people with the possibility of leading a life they dream of. Beneath the excuses, the why it's not possible, lies the fear of having a choice. Which I get can really freak you out when you realize how endlessly big your range of life choices is if you suspend the "comfort" in your life. To anyone out there who finds themselves in that uncomfortable space, it's ok. Keep dreaming, and the day will come where you feel it's time to take the leap. There's no mistakes in life! 🙌

Questions and problems are much more valuable than answers. When you can actually formulate a question or see a problem, normally the answer or solutions are blindingly obvious. I've dreaammt of being a digital nomad for a decade now and I can no longer give in to a crippling fear of failure. I can not accept defeat and I feel like a late bloomer but this video is the push I need to start the action steps of working towards my goal. Paraphrasing what you said, "I don't know how I'm going to do it but I know my most immediate goal is getting a remote job"

Sorelle, you and I are very different people in many ways (I can't do handstands for a start), but I think that of all the creators that I follow online, you're the person who inspires me the most. I think it's the obviousness that you actually want to help others, and the absolute lack of pretence in the way you talk about these things. This is a great idea for a series and I'm really excited to see where it goes, you're definitely right when you say that something like this is needed. I'm about to start making KZbin videos, and hopefully start on my path towards a life of financial freedom, travel and inspiring others. The thing you said about self portraits not being a new concept, but rebranding them as Advanced Selfies and building your course, is the whole reason I created my course. I filmed interviews with my family members and made little documentaries about their life stories. Not the first person in the world to do that, but I've rebranded them "lifereels" and I created an online course which I'm now trying to sell online. I lost my Mum about 4 months ago, she'd have turned 58 last Saturday. I'm in a lot of pain, but having her lifereel has brought me a kind of comfort that I think most people who lose a parent (especially young people) aren't lucky enough to have. The last few months, I've really had this fire building underneath me to take my online course more seriously and really start getting the message out to people: that they should create lifereels of their loved ones, while they still can. I just wanted to let you know that I probably wouldn't have made my course without the inspiration I got from seeing what you did with Advanced Selfie University, and I'm just very grateful for your presence online. All the very best, and looking forward to seeing where this series goes :) - Oscar

If you would make a really simple course that seniors could follow, they probably would make life reel to leave to their children to receive when they are gone. You have now started me thinking about starting to collect things for my life reel I would want my kids to open up after I am gone 🙂

@@SorelleAmore Hey Sorelle - thanks so so much for your reply! The course is super accessible to seniors and beginners in video stuff, but especially for folks to make a lifereel in collaboration with their loved ones, like a nice wee family project :) I’ve been watching your Insta and seeing you surprise your mum a few times over the last year when you’ve been visiting home! I defo recommend sitting down with her and asking her some questions about her life story! I’m so incredibly glad I did that with my Mum. Thanks again so much for your reply ❤

I CAN'T LIKE THIS VIDEO ENOUGH!! I have been feeling stuck, lost and really like a prisioner actually, working a job I know I love... But it being an obligation (because I need the money) has turned into something I despite. Can't do any other things I like (like traveling even if just inside my country) because I need to work and I'm so young.. I want freedom. SO, I started looking into Affiliate Marketing, and I'm starting it, but it's been hard to fully understand it, so I constantly change my mind about things (niche, products, strategy,...). Recently I came across the Japanese concept of Ikigai and, literally, this morning I wrote it down and *possibly* found the way to go! Now, I opened youtube, found this channel, started watching this video and EVERYTHING is ressonating with me, then you speak about ikigai and my mind blows! Sometimes everything is so aligned, it's incredible! You have a new inspired follower. I'm a future free human! Thank you

I am 33 and have been only saving cash and enjoying it for the last year only. I am saying enjoying because in the past I was living pay check to paycheck. I was looking forward to spending the cash but now once my perception has changed and I have two sources of income, I see how spending money was an antidepressant for me. Which in the long run didn't bring me any joy, I was even feeling bad and regretting spending the cash. Having a goal, which is fingers crossed being free and having some money stability is keeping me sane. Thank you for your videos Sorelle!

This lifestyle and point of view is SO inline with how I feel and what I want. What I see as "successful." I'm 23 and still figuring it out-- terrified that I'll never find or achieve the lifestyle I want. The only thing that keeps me going is that I believe-- I KNOW that I WILL be successful. I don't think that the Free Human lifestyle (in the exact way that you achieve it) is exactly what I want, but it is certainly in the same ballpark. I want to work for myself, doing something I can do remotely, and travel. I just haven't figured out exactly what that looks like for me. I'll be following along eagerly with this series, and I'm excited for the different perspectives and lifestyles that you're going to showcase for us! Keep up the awesome work 😁

I'm so happy for you and others that are privileged enough to build this free lifestyle. Unfortunately, for most people in this world, a free lifestyle will never be a possibility. Poverty, disability, race, geographical location, etc. can be so debilitating and huge barriers for so many that just want a better quality of life. Just something to keep in mind when you say that 'everyone' can be free. Sometimes, people have no choice.

This is what I needed to hear right now. I'm on my way to being a free human, which feels great, but I'm still so uncertain and attached to things and ideas that don't serve me. I had a conversation with my best friend yesterday about growth being lonely at times. Neither of us have found our tribes yet, and while I have met my first love there is some emptiness and needs to be met. I'm going to journal now, and use the Ikigai diagram for clarity. "If you don't set a path, someone will do it for oyu. If you don't have a vision, someone will make one for you". Ain't that the truth. Here's to more growth, fulfillment, struggle, joy, pain, and everything in between. If you're reading this, bless you
