How I Broke a Server's Scoreboard with Sappers [TF2]

Jesse... bring out the money printers.... it's time to break a TF2 server... Every once in a while I'll find a TF2 server that has their own custom points system. And between those, occasionally one will give you points for creating and destroying buildings. Well, Sappers count as buildings, so by quickly placing and destroying them via Homewrecker Pyro mafia, you can rack up points super quickly. My friend in the video, CyberWizard, used this trick to get to #8 out of roughly 32,000 in a little over an hour.

You don't need all the two pyros, the engineer, and the spy in the same place. You could have the spy putting sappers alone in one very hard place to find by himself, and have the two pyros and engie wherever.

There is another way to grind a lot of points on this map. In the center the Headless Horseless Horsemann spawns. You can farm uber off him with the ubersaw and vaccinator and spam uber a bunch. Each uber is 5 points.

I once found a variant of the point system, where you could build Standard Sentries, switch to the Gunslinger, and earn your points for building your Sentry, but not lose points for the Sentry being destroyed for switching to the Gunslinger.

I once found a hightower server with sentries disabled. Basically, if you tried building a sentry you wouldnt place anything and wouldnt lose any metal, but you still got points for building sentries.

Blue, I want you to know that i live vicariously through your videos. When I was in middle school back in 2012, I constantly played TF2 from the moment I got home to midnight. My greatest joy in life was playing on community servers and just goofin' around with my friends and playing MVM after that came out. in either 2013 or 2014, i moved out into the country and haven't had good enough internet to play... really, any online game since then. I've wanted to do nothing more than play some TF2 again but I cant most of the time, except for the rare nights the internet is good enough for me to play with less than 200 ping. watching your videos REALLY helps me scratch that itch when I can't, and I can't thank you enough for the content you put out.
