The rich are money-minded; that's a lesson I've grasped from the very beginning. My desire to build wealth has always been strong. I’ve set aside $160K since 2020, and I’m eager to invest it in the stock market to grow my financial future. I’d love to hear any recommendations you have.

I think the safest strategy is to diversify investments. But if you need proper advice, consider speaking with a financial expertise. Don't get me wrong, you can do it on your own, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area.

Agreed, I've always delegated my excesses to an advisor, since suffering major portfolio loss early 2020, amid covid outbreak. I'm now semi-retired and only work 7.5 hours a week, with barely 25% short of my $1m retirement goal after subsequent investments to date.

Many great points. One I disagree with is avoiding “hard” businesses. The higher the barrier to entry, the higher the reward. But the harder it is, the more humility you need. And the more important it is to find good mentors and employees. I’ve worked for multiple startups building VERY hard businesses that need hundreds of millions in venture capital before they can generate revenue (hardware based with high R&D costs). Some of these have real promise. But if you’re founding a business like this, the sacrifices are huge. I love working at these kinds of startups, but I don’t think I would ever try and found one at this stage of my life, you do need a very good idea to raise capital, but start executing well and you will find investors to support you.

I'm in one of the hard businesses listed there. :) Thanks for a great video! I think much of this is pretty solid. I think in general the start-up sphere could also be more customer focused. I know this sounds dumb but hear me out. There's a lot of focus on the "idea". What the idea really should be, is a solution to the ideal customers problem. I think this is hinted at in the video but sometimes I feel it could be hight lighted a bit more. Focus on what problems the customer you love has. The bigger the better. Then you will find your great "Idea".

Thank you for the great insight Matt! This seems to be the common notion amongst many successful entrepreneurs. On a side note, Al Ula is a modern tourist spot in Saudi Arabia but if you study history, this region had a nation of evil-doers which God destroyed after they neglected His messengers & were blind in their arrogance. One day, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was passing by this area with his companions & advised them & the entire humanity to pass by this area quickly & not stay for long. You may see very few locals hanging out here because they know its a spiritually cursed region. Hope you get to explore more places & expand your knowledge!

Honest question, everyone says: you don’t have to hustle to have success. But all of the people who say that-did hustle first. ‘No matter how wildly successful I was, I was still unhappy.’ NOW they all teach how to have success without the burn out. BUT you make 13+ million a year off of the hustle that allows you to not have to hustle. I want to see someone go from broke as a joke to this level of success without ever hustling. I have yet to find it.

What I got out of this video: Some really good talking points here and there, especially to have a list of criteria to filter out ideas, and take the easier route but aim high. But the actually most useful thing about this video is probably how you make an engaging video and market your company/yourself. Ex, point #3 about "scarcity mindset", this is more of a promotion of you/your services. Honestly most part of the video sounds like an empty motivational talk, great for promotion. Also, this is me nitpicking here, but: most of the points are not beliefs. They are something negative that are holding you back for sure, but they are not beliefs. How is the "lack of clarify" a belief to begin with? However, point #2 is a belief: "how do I know if I found a perfect idea?", this is the limiting belief that you need a perfect idea. Or #5: "to get started, don't I need any money?", this is a limiting belief that you need money to start something. But then honestly if I were you, I would have done something similar. If the market eats this kinda stuff up, who am I to say no to?

I've been struggling with this since I remember. When I want to do/learn something that I can get good at fast (Like in a day or some hours), I'll get into it and devote hours until I fully get good at it and then I get back to life. But if something takes long, like learning a new language or working on a long term project, I just can't get myself to continue. I lose interest as soon as I feel I have to devote a lot of time. I'm extremely enthusiastic when it comes to physical activities because I can get into it asap, but if I want to force myself to learn something like programming, I just don't have the patience and get irritated after a short amount of time, Like my body literally starts fighting and itching me to get up and do something else. Thing is alot of actual useful things take time to master and I want to fix this issue so I can work on long term goals.
