Dora Nguyen I felt the exact same way. I used to cover my acne with concealer every single day, until I bought a new concealer and noticed how much worse my skin got. Turns out my skin hates an ingredient called ethylhexyl palmitate, and that ingredient was much higher up on the list in my new concealer than my old one. Turns out there’s a ton of pore clogging ingredients in makeup. I actually gave myself a condition called acne cosmetica (acne from cosmetics), and that was the only reason I had acne. I also cut out dairy which helped a lot (might not help you). I’m not saying stop wearing makeup, but ingredients are important! The maybelline fit me concealer isn’t comedogenic and (most likely) won’t cause you any acne. Neither will the L’Oréal Infallible concealer. If you’re looking for a higher priced option then the bare minerals stick concealer (not any of the others) is good, and so is the full coverage Nars concealer. Some good cheaper foundation options are the L’Oréal infallible foundation (original, pro-matte, and total cover), maybelline fit me foundation, and NYX can’t stop won’t stop foundation. Higher priced options include the Bite beauty foundation, Charlotte tilbury airbrush flawless foundation, Armani designer lift foundation, Marc jacobs re(marc)able foundation, KVD true portait foundation, and sephora 10 hour perfect foundation. Id honestly recommend just using a concealer to spot conceal though. Im not saying that your makeup is necessarily the cause of your acne (could be hormones, PCOS, stress, diet, hygiene, medications, etc), but putting on very comedogenic makeup will not help and may be contributing.

WOW… I had to come back and find this video as I initially watched it back in September 2021 when I was at complete despair with my skin having tried everything (so I thought). I have never had cystic acne or anything extremely severe, but I’ve had my fair share of *consistent* clusters of spots all over my face, covering them in creams until they finally fade weeks later and then I find another 10 appearing around my face, I’ve been very low and lacked confidence throughout the years. There was never a time I didn’t have multiple spots on my face, and in my late twenties/early thirties it was rather embarrassing. I’ve battled with spots since I was around 14 years old and I’m now 31, they affected me so much I stupidly purchased roaccuane from a pharmacy abroad for years… they kind of reduced the spots but were oh so dangerous and I definitely didn’t have acne severe enough to take them, never mind the side effects. Would not recommend. Anyway fast forward to sept 21 when I found this video. To be honest I haven’t changed my diet at all or anything else really. The only thing I did was purchase zinc picolinate and pantothenic acid (b5). I took 1 of each in the morning and then the same at night. I CANT EXPLAIN HOW THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. Since a few weeks after taking them and all the way up to today (24th April 2022 - that’s 7 months!!!), I have had about 5 spots, and they have been TINY and gone within a day (usually around the time of the month). Every single day my skin is perfectly clear, and I mean perfectly!! I can’t believe it. My whole adult life my skin has never ever looked like this. PLEASE try this combo - it may work for you too and I really hope it changes your life like it has mine. I will forever be thankful for this KZbinr.

Hi to all young men and women who have a problem with acne. I am 21 years old, and since I turned 13, I suddenly got terrible acne all over my body. I tried virtually all cures but it didn’t help. I even tried every diet I heard of but in the end i got some metabolism disorder and I ended up with health problems besides acne. My last hope was to try laser treatment and when that failed too, it seemed there is no cure. Then I run across this link. It’s name is: *AcneCureOnline. The thing is you’re still so young, your hormones are going to be all over the place for the next few years. The best way is to keep your routine simple, and eat healthy. So no processed sugar, less or no dairy, and no soda. Exercise at least 3 times a week and make sure you wash your face right after you work out. Aside from that, if you have oily skin, don’t strip the oils away because they’re good for you, and you still need to moisturise, just use a gel cream like the one from neutrogena which is oil free. If you have dry or combo skin, make sure you’re moisturising too. Don’t scrub at your skin everyday, twice a week is good enough. Use a gentle cleanser, not one that dries your skin out too much or strips away the oils. Use a good toner, not one with alcohol because that’s drying. The bioderma or garnier micellar water is super gentle, try that. Use sunscreen which is oil free and if you wear makeup, make sure you don’t scrub your face with makeup wipes. Use a gentle cleanser and use toner after to make sure all the makeup is gone. Lastly, if you have a breakout and want to do spot treatments, talk to a doc about using benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment. It can be a bit sensitive for some people so just keep it on for 5 mins and wash it off and see if it causes you any problems but talk to a doc before since you’re young. Don’t touch your face or pick at your skin. Honestly it’s a long process but having good habits from a young age will benefit you later on. Don’t skip the sunscreen!

l‘m 17 and I‘ve been struggling with hormonal acne for almost 5 years now. It‘s still caused by puberty and its hormones and there‘s literally no way to get fully rid of it. Special products and intense skincare mostly make everything even worse but keeping your body healthy (food, working out, etc) is always something good and it might help your skin a lot. Stay strong, it‘ll be gone in a few years. And don‘t be sad if you see others with perfect skin, although it‘s hard and unfair I know. We all can get through this💖

@Alaizaa I don’t know, it’s always best to ask your dermatologist though. Maybe it’s not good that you take too many vitamins but it can also help. I really have no idea, sorry :( I personally try to use as few things as possible. I only wash my face with a micro fabric towel that gets off most of the dirt and then I use a TON of moisturizer and that’s it. I decided to give my skin the calmness it needs and to just wait until it’s over haha

I had acne free skin for 36 years, then out of blue nowhere i decided not to wash face for one day while letting my face and body in sweats for one day the next day i woke up my whole freaking face covered in terrible acne i was shocked like wtf now after one year my skin is not completely clear, its just 80% clear there's stubborn acne over my cheeks argggh i'm mad with myself for being slack for just one day and causing my face to become like this.

I’ve had cystic acne consistently since I was 10. I’m now almost 21. I genuinely don’t remember a time when I was pimple free. My diet is kind of bad in terms of eating greasy foods but I do get adequate amounts of every food group. My stress level is high, my sleep schedule sucks. Topical treatments don’t really help except for rubbing the inside of an aloe Vera plant on my face.

Yes!!! Topical products are a waste of money and just irritate your face. Vitamins are the way!! Treat the problem from within, your body will thank you & be consistent, stop switching products if using any. I had the same exact problem, crazy hormonal breakouts. I ditched the skincare and went for a more holistic approach and my skin is looking better, fingers crossed!

My routine has been making a healthy smoothie every morning, and afterwards I take few pills and finish taking the rest after I eat before I go to sleep. I saw a BIG Difference once I also incorporated Milk Thistle into my routine. I do still get a few break outs just on my right cheek (idk why thats happening, its not my pillow cause I sleep on both sides of my face) but DEFINITLEY Not as bad as it used to be. Now I’ve just been trying to figure out a way to help the red spots/scars on my face to go away :/.

For the ones who are around 13-18 and having hormonal acne like me • girl see it is normal to have acne in this age and you can't have complete control over them like you can't wish you don't have acne for your whole life • secondly don't wish for instant results good things take time • third the main cause of hormonal acne is diet trust me it pays very important role good diet=good skin •don't ever ever purchase tons of skincare and try use them all .trust me 3 to 4 product are enough including cleanser • i also have acne from the age of 12 and trust me makeup makes acne more severe apply makeup occasionally or just basic makeup •don't ever try to cover your acne using tons of concealer to hide acne it makes it more severe (personally experienced) •make your skincare simple and try to use products made from natural ingredients. I am not a specialist just a my personal experience as there was no one to tell me these tips just experienced all of these and telling y'all i am currently 16 and my acne is very less as i learnt more and i still has breakouts but I can now get it in control. Bonus tip: just trust the process of your acne clearing don't just ever be like i want this to clear now only and i still has my acne marks which are fading by time but when I became confident in my acne i became more happy and my insecurities were gone 😊❤️ Don't mind my bad grammer I'm not a native English speaker.

What helped me clear my complexion was to STOP STRESSING about it. It was very difficult to do bc I tend to look in the mirror quite a bit but I found that the more I worried and cried and stressed about my acne, the more it just made it worse. I had to clean up my diet too and be kinder to myself and I started noticing improvements. Hi! Sorry for not responding earlier. This is really great. I stopped dairy. I cut down sugar. I started taking vitamin B5 regularly. But I didn't take celery juice. After a week, I started seeing changes. All my acne disappeared. I usually get big bumps around my chin before. I followed these steps regularly for a month. I did see a major results in my skin. Now I stopped taking vitamin B5. I'll take one or two a day when my skin needs it. I even have my coffee with dairy and sugar sometimes. But I not getting any big bumps now. And about my hyperpigmentation, I'm using Nianicimide and it reduced a lot. But I still have some dark spots. But usually it takes longer for my skin to heal. I've scarring too. But I'm not doing anything for now. I'm very happy about my progress on the skin. I also think when out gut is healthy, our skin will be healthy. So I'm focusing on the gut health too.

@@skullkid00x @Little Tyrone Sorry that didn't work out for you. Maybe trying for some more days? One of the main things for me causing acne is dairy and sugar. When I take these supplements, I started seeing changes. Another main thing is maintaining healthy gut. This is the major game changer. I followed other KZbin channels too. I researched about what foods to eat and what not to eat for clear skin. Exercise would help too. Whenever I sweat out, my skin starts to glow. Basically this is what I followed. Don't worry. You'll get through this. Faith and patience is important. Also don't be stressed out. Because whenever I feel low thinking about my acne, the next day I'll wake up with even more acne. So yeah!
