I'm so glad to see that you've found a skincare routine/treatment that is working! You and your skin always look so nice in your videos! I think I found you through your How To Become A Minimalist video in 2016. I remember at the end going, "Oh, wow, and she's vegan too!" Because I was also transitioning to becoming a vegan. You are so relatable because you talk about a full range of emotions, and it shows that your positivity, and humor are genuine which is much appreciated today when people are only posting their successes. Also, you try to bring valuable content and are minimalist/essentialist in your videos where you don't have fluff content to pad the run time. I have seen other people comment that they appreciate this too! Thank you!!! :D

Videos I'd like to see from you: 1.) Travel tips you have, especially for sustainable & vegan travel 2.) How to for microinvesting... investing is intimidating to me and many other people... any books you would recommend or review, or investing book club. Have you ever looked into any ethical investment options or books? I haven't but I feel like this would be right up your alley. 3.) Vlogs or motivation to try hiking as a form of exercise/hobby... if you could talk about this, I feel like it's important during covid to support people getting out, and it's helpful to see someone do the steps it takes to do it. A lot of people want to hike but don't really know where to go or how much effort/planning it's going to take 4.) It would be interesting to know if you have tried or will try any vegan diets for your skin, such as the perricone diet (but vegan), or something. I think it's really important to get a dietitian's advice and meet your nutritional needs if you do... 5.) I'd be interested in a video about how you tour your local areas as if you're traveling. A lot of people don't have the money to travel and can do day trips. My girlfriends and I did that once and pretended that we were in a "seaside town" together haha. 6.) I'm always Interested to see whatever hobbies you are into at the moment! 7.) Another thing that would be fun to see you do is a "vegan food from around the world" series where you make recipes, unbox, or just talk about vegan food from around the world. This would be super fun I think, and it might be relatively inexpensive since most of the world is poor and eats soup and beans and rice. You could add world coffees too! Haha

Some travel related topics I'd be interested in seeing are "why I love to travel" "how you can get an authentic cultural experience while traveling" (as opposed to ending up in a gigantic tourist trap), do you have special tips for air travel that you can share?, Also, do you know of various sustainable packing options? Related, it would be nice to have a gift guide for the environmentally conscious/minimalist traveler

Nice to see you again Amanda since your last post! Always good to see how you're going. I had problems with acne right up to about 30 years old due to my skin being oily. Tried a lot of things but in the end, it gradually lessened and eventually it disappeared! Every now and then, I get one a or two but then it heals and disappears. Try to avoid the sun also during the peak times.

Drinking celery juice in the morning for a year healed my stomach and that’s what healed my skin. Digestion has a big impact on my skin. If I get a zit now it goes away in a day and my skin looked just like yours (the pictures of when it was real bad for you). Red and inflamed.

Thank you for the update. Just out of curiosity have you explored allergies? I'm sorry if you said something about it. Your skin reminds me of when I use the wrong laundry detergent. I can only use certain types. I think it might be the intensity of the fragrances in certain products.

Amanda, try researching "the clear skin diet". It's is written by 2 twin sisters that had hormonal acne and cleared their skin through diet. I am sure it can do wonders on your skin journey too. I had my fair share of hormonal acne and I am just starting to feel comfortable in my skin.

Amanda! Been following you for a while and love all your videos! I feel you when you talk about dealing with adult acne, I’ve been struggling as well, is something that really gets in your head as well but we have to stop stigmatising not having a perfect skin, is perfectly normal (although beauty standards say the opposite). I started my skin journey this year, I been going to a skin clinic in Cottesloe (Western Australia) where I got done 3 Dermapen sessions (it really helped me got rid of bumps in my skin, white heads and large pores, and they have special treatments for sensitive skin like yours). Don’t be afraid of skin needling, they can adjust the level of the machine to suit your skin! Also I’ve never been so constant with my skincare routine like I am nowadays, I have been using medik8, mesoaestetic and aspect products (the professional that did my treatments gave me an AM and PM routine) and I can see a HUGE difference. Lastly, I got a set from The Secret Skincare (they are a skincare brand based in Perth) and omg it’s amazing (it’s prescribed so you have to fill in a ton of info about your current skin routine with pics and everything). I stopped self diagnosing my skin cause like you said it can be too much for it. Having a professional alongside the journey, being constant with my skin products and clinical treatments were key to improving my skin (as well as a healthy dairy free diet). This got too long I believe hahah 😂
