I feel like "trying" is the biggest downfall to TTC. Has anyone noticed how people who aren't trying to get pregnant, get pregnant! I just know from my life experience that most of the pregnant women I've ever known weren't trying and that the few I did know who were actually trying, had to try for a while. I wasn't trying. I've been engaged for two years already so I knew it happen eventually but I wasn't trying, I actually was taking BC pill and missed a day and that's how I got pregnant. I have no clue wat it's like to try and try but it has to be hard and frustrating and I think that stress from trying plays a huge role. Also when ur not trying ur not waiting. Ik that's easier said than done, but it's soemthing my moms stressed to me for years whenever we'd talk about pregnacy even at a younger age. I also have a close friend who as soon as she said she gave up and wasn't even going to bother tracking anything or worry about it anymore, she got pregnant. I think ur mind plays a huge role

Oh yeas of course! I was referring to those with no fertility issues or other conditions, or even those with minor ones but still have a good chance of getting pregnant. I just know so many women who's stress about getting pregnant has gotten in the way, of course if u have fertility problems and such then it's not going to be that easy :/

I was ttc number 5 for almost 2 years. My two oldest are almost 18 and 15. My son is 8 and my girl just turned 5. We got pregnant we were so lucky first 3 the first month and my 5 year old the 3rd month. I'm still young I was 16 with my first and 19 with my 2nd. My husband is the father to all my children. I am a nurse!!! So when we started ttc # 5 and I hit 6 months ttc I started to freak out. I know I was so blessed to have 4 already but it made it so much harder known that something was wrong because I am still young and was only 32 now I'm 34 and it happen so fast with the others. And so went to the doctors where I was told wait till a year then we will do blood work. Ttc no matter how many you have us hard I cried myself to sleep so many nights. Plus being a nurse knew something was wrong. Finally after a year. Found a great ob/gyn. She did a bunch of tests and found out I had pcos high prolactin so high she said it was like I was breast feeding, thyroid problems endomitrosis. She said that I may not conceive on my own. Oct 2015 I had a mc at 5.5 weeks that tore me apart. I was so done and emotionaly drained and depressed. Jan I was like I'm giving up this is to heart breaking. But said this is my last try I looked online and after taking so many meds fr doctor to ttc I was fed up. Well online I seen goid reviews about soy isoflavones. Like a natural clomid. It says to take 100mg for 5 days. Just like the cd's you would take clommid. So took 100mg cd2-cd6. The end of jan I was 11dpo and had one last frer test. Took it at 1am was like ya right it's going to be neg well it was very pos. I almost fainted. All my doctors were in so much shock. I'm now almost 30 weeks pregnant. Please please never give up hope. And please listen to your bodies. Baby dust to all ttc. Have faith/ hope it will happen

I completely agree with you. It took us 4 years of trying to get pregnant with our twin boys and in the end I said enough is enough,I need to stop keeping track of everything for my own sanity. I was constantly taking ovulation and pregnancy tests and we would try every single month for almost 4 years. In the end I stopped and became resigned to the fact I wouldn't get pregnant. I actually became pregnant as soon as I stopped. We had a late miscarriage and after we decided to try again. It took 9 months of trying then I stopped tracking everything again and became pregnant within 2 months. We are now trying for baby number 4,have been for 2 years and it's so easy to get stuck in the cycle of trying and then end up being disappointed. I know it's all in the mind yet I'm not ready to give up trying yet. I'm sure when I do I'll probably get pregnant again.

August will mark 2 years of trying. We have been seeing a fertility specialist for almost 6 months now. Praying something works soon... We want a family so much. I am so excited for you, David and Eden! You have a wonderful family. :)

Oh honey, you definitely have the pregnancy glow already :) huge congrats to you and your beautiful family! I also got preggo with baby # 2 within the 1st month after taking out the IUD. We didn't follow a ovulation calendar or do anything like that, sometimes I feel like it's easier when you don't stress out about it and put too much hope on it. As hard as that may be...just have fun with your partner and let God work his magic. That's just a little advice that I have to share. With that being said, I love your channel BC of the positivity that you spread on the daily :) I currently just have a mommy channel for memories I want to keep with my babies, but I'm thinking so hard about making a new channel just for positive and motivational advice for woman...you are definitely my motivation to do it Shaylee so thank you girlie :)

I'm so glad you were able to conceive so quickly!! This didn't make me conceive any quicker, but I thoroughly read the book, "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" and it was like an exhaustive college course (but entertaining to read)! The best resource, by far, I used, though it still took me 2 years and 8 months with a miscarriage in between. Congratulations again and thank you for sharing your experience!!

This is nice of you Shaylee. Sharing your tips is so kind of you. I do believe that there are many people who are trying hard to fasten their conceiving rate. I was in a similar period before. But then I got some helpful tips in Bio tex clinic that really helped me great deal. Once you've decided you want a baby, the last thing you want to do is wait! It's not an exact science but there are certain things you can do to maximize your chances of getting pregnant. Even though the advice is regular sex throughout the month, it's important to know your cycle. During ovulation some women feel a twinge of pain in one side and cervical mucus may become thin and slippery. If you have an irregular cycle or feel you need extra help, you can buy ovulation prediction kits to help you find out when you are most fertile. It can be an obsession with some couples to have to have sex at a certain time and this can put a lot of pressure on couples. However, it can take the fun out of sex and make some men less likely to perform.

Well Shaylee, your tips are amazing. Most couples get pregnant within three months. But it could take longer if you're older. Have certain lifestyle habits that can affect fertility (like smoking). Or have a condition that impairs fertility. Trying to conceive is one big waiting game. You never know if this will be month that pregnancy test turns positive. But thankfully there are a few ways to help boost your odds of getting pregnant. Sure, you can track your cycle and follow all the baby-making tricks in the book. But sometimes what you don’t do is just as important as what you do. So it is good to get more on the same from your clinic. In my case Bio tex clinic chipped a lot. If you're younger than 35 and have been trying to get pregnant for a year without success, it's time to consult a fertility doctor. If you're age 35 or older, it's best to see a specialist after about six months of trying to conceive.

Congratulations!! Eden and my Son Theodore had the same due date back in March 2013 :) We're ttc too, 3rd month in and no baby as yet. I've gone to my gp and did a "pre pregnancy" check up which was basically getting some blood work done. So happy I did because I found out that my iron is super low, so i've started taking iron with folic acid tablets hoping it will help us fall pregnant soon :) All the best xx

Now that you mention that you started taking care of yourself beforehand, I realize that is probably what helped me conceive. We tried for 6 months, but about a month or 2 before I conceived, I was going to a personal trainer and eating healthy. I am going to have to keep that in mind (and get the app) when we start trying for baby #2! ;)

My cycle starts on the same day every month and lasts 7 long days! lol My oldest son was a suprise, and my second was definitely planned. I just used the babycenter.com ovulation calculator, you put in the first day of your last period and it tells you when you'd get pregnant and when your due date would be. Jacob was predicted to be born on 10/04 my water broke on 10/03 at midnight so I'd say it was pretty accurate! My only issue is when should we have our next baby, it's such a big decision we waited 4 years to have a second. I'm guessing it'll be another year or so before we have our next. I definitely want to be debt free first, so we'll probably wait until the beginning of next year!

Hi I'm new to this I had my rod removed On the 10th of January this year and started bleeding 12th -15th could I class this as a period? As when on the rod I never kept track. I'm using the app you mention and it's states my fertile window starts today and ovulation day is Saturday so we will be doing the baby dance all this week lol and last week just to make sure lol. Also do you think 36 is too old for having a baby ? I have 3 older children from a previous partner my children are 17,16 and 12. But my partner whom I with now has no children and really wants a baby I guess I'm just scared of age gap and my age as I would be 37 in august .

I just downloaded the Clue app. And I've been using cheap Ovulation tests from China. The ones you get on ebay for like 3.00 for 50 of them. I had never gotten a positive on them. I'm honing I go buy some from Walmart today.

So awhile back I commented on a video about ur weight as you may recall it was blown out of proportion and taken the wrong so for that I apologize I have a 10 month old and I have been the same wight sense having her which Is bigger then what I'm use too I tried the 30 minute shred and I've actually lost a few pounds but my craving for sweets and my eating habits have not changed sense being pregnant so I apologies for the fact that be for my comment may have seemed rude it took me a long time to not be pissed from the reaction I got because I am honest in real life I am the same with everyone I know and most people have always appreciated that it seemed to me it was turned into people twisting my words around so I unsubscribed because of the Imature response I got I rssubscribed because I honestly to like you and ur family and ur vlogs and I hope next time if something similar comes up its handled better but I will always be honest because that's who I am and I will not lie to make someone feel better

There is nothing wrong with being honest as long as you're doing it out of love and not out of attack. I block those that are hateful because I don't want that on my channels, there's already enough hate in the world :)
