Well, I picked up 3 loads on the way back to Chicago from Ohio once, pain but more money lol. Now as I do store deliveries, packaging supplies and stuff, I had one small load to the store in the sleeper and one full load in the trailer, did this twice. Twice the money and stores don't care if I deliver packaging supplies to them in the sleeper or in the trailer lol, so win win!

U should always change both steer tyres if they are damaged or if both are new then only change one,much safer

That steer is fine. If you didn’t already have two spares, then I would suggest to change it. I hammer boards down to transport forklifts. We had a yard dog flip due to a forklift shifting in the trailer. Great vids!

I would change that steer tire and run it out on the trailer the damage that $600 tire can do while on the steer is crazy, they run at a lot more pressure than all the others and will not let you know in time, you have been very lucky so far (apart from the looks department😊) so for the difference of a couple hundred dollars move it off the steer

Smart guy. I used to consolidate all the time coming off the east coast and back to Ohio. Sometimes going out we did that. No big deal. As you say all gucci. Keep up the good work

I hate greasing fifth wheel plates due to dust and dirt getting trapped in the grease. I use the polyglide greaseless fifth wheel plates or the weld on slip plates. The plastic bearing plates actually reduce friction much more than grease and they are noticeably better that grease.

Largest truck I ever drove was probably an F350 Box Truck from U-haul, (it was a Dentside Ford) but I strongly recommend more screws in your platform/chock-boards! Wow! My confirmation bias makes me think that those eight drives would protect the two steers, but I guess they end up getting yaw-slid across the pavement, but not as far as the front tires - which are at the terminus of the axis. (Trailer tires being the origin.) My bucket list includes piloting a Road Tractor!

If you would pull doubles, which probably no O/O does, you would be able to consolidate loads without them being in the same trailer! Move out West, and you can pull triples!!🤣 LOL, it looked like your Dad FAFO'ed that he indeed could unload that forklift with how he had the forks of that other forklift.👍

The issue with consolidating the loads is .when you loaded at walmart why did they not put a seal on the trailer when you left ,and again checked the seal at the receiver. u8less you counted every box you could be liable to a claim .

Bahahaha, one of my friends took a partial load from my brother's place in NYC to Canton NC & everyone was happy, made money & saved money as well ,the load was a little messy as it was plants 🪴 & rocks 🪨, but unloading it was instant as he has all the heavy equipment to unload it in minutes & not wait around for it to get unloaded, my friend was so impressed how he unloads the rocks & plants without a loading dock ,by putting a forklift into the trailer, then usiimg a Komatsu 250 or 500 loader to pull out the forklift & the load of rocks at once & put it back on the ground, then repeat the process, he is quick on both the forklift as well as the loader
