Great work. I'll borrow this idea for my cursed forest terrain, putting the portal into a dead hollow tree with a few gnarled and jagged trees/branches/roots instead of the spikes and tentacles. Thanks for the inspiration =)

Adding just about anything OTHER than water to sculptamold drastically extends the working time, I've found - squirt in some cheap craft acrylic and it'll be wet for days. Of course, then you have the opposite problem...

What light/light effect did you use to splash light onto the finished terrain? Would be interesting in seeing if it’s a viable option to be used in game to add more atmosphere. Great vid as per usual!

It's called a ripple light. We've tested it in bat reps a few times. It is useful for certain effects, but with lighting you get what you pay for and good lights are expensive. The ripple light I have is pretty weak in a well lit room unfortunately.
