@@JackInTheShop You can Pin your Etsy products. You can't "claim" a business account on Pinterest anymore. Posting pins is not claiming a business account on Pinterest. You used to be able to have a whole business page on Pinterest like you have your Etsy store. They don't allow that anymore because they consider Etsy as a marketplace not your own "website store". By just posting a pins is not the same thing. They just made this change on Pinterest I believe this past year. I open my Etsy shop in October and that change was already in place and I didn't know. It also wasn't stated on Pinterest anywhere. I have to change my account I guess over to a personal account and not a business account from what the people at Pinterest explain to me. They also told me when you have your own website store that you have to have made a lot of sales before you can open up a business account on Pinterest. Because I also had my own website, ( which I'm closing now until I have more sales on Etsy, because I am new also and did this wrong after getting bad advice ). I only have had one sale so I still couldn't open a Business account. It's not stated clearly on Pinterest either. I did let them know that also. I had to write Pinterest and ask them about all this information.

@@JackInTheShop I am too worried about paying too many fees for listing Products, but did find that you only get charged every four months. Having 150 listings at $.20 is $30 every four months I don't think that's too bad. And if they're not selling, you can always deactivate them / not automatically renew them / or work on the SEO to see if that does better. This is all a risk and you have to give it some time. I says this, but I have a hard time with it myself. It's no fun working for free.

Great Advice but by creating so many pins for my Pinterest business account they saw my stuff as being "spammy" and have suspended my account! To create a Pinterest pin from an Etsy listing, start by going to the listing that you want to create a pin for. Click on the Share button, and then click on the Pinterest icon. A new window will open, and you will be able to choose what board you want to save your pin to

Can you coach me 1 on 1? I have literally tried EVERYTHING. Including but not limited to finding niches with High search volume, low competition, ads, social media ... all of it. When you create a pin from Etsy, are you logged into Etsy as your shop owner or do you use a different Etsy account to create pins on Pinterest. I’m having a hard time pinning my products when I’m logged into Etsy as my shop owner.

ETSY is absolutely useless. Every time I search for a specific item, and arrange them based on price, I get every second row, (or so), with something different, and not arranged by price. It is SO bloody annoying, and makes it difficult to search. So much so, that I almost NEVER use Etsy any longer.

I'm on Etsy a couple of months and didn't make any sales, it is sad because I paid Etsy ads every day without results and now I lost a lot of money and still waiting to make a sell By the way I make glasses chains hand made, do you people like glasses chains?

Don’t worry, most people experience a loss with ads and a couple of months is still fairly new in the grand scheme of things so don’t give up
