Thank you so much for this tutorial! With our retirement budget there’s no way I can afford a Dyson for my hair (but love my Dyson vacuum for our rugs! Ha!), but it still gives me a lot of info for my even shorter hair, which is probably half way between your length and a very short pixie! As a Baby Boomer close to your mother’s age (LOVE when you have her on - such a classy lady!), I want to look stylish but not like an “old lady”! We Baby Boomers may be near 70, but we don’t FEEL like 70 in our minds! (Wasn’t it yesterday the Beatles came here to be on the Ed Sullivan Show?!! 😘) So our look is still fresh if not young! Thanks again, and forgive my rambling!

I have fine, thin hair and this style with this type of dryer/ brush is the best thing I have ever found. I started using it about 10 years ago and find it very easy to use. I never did master the two-handed brush and blow dryer technique.

great to see the dyson in use. I have the exact same one. One thing , you dont need to keep turning it like a normal dryer, just wrap the damp hair close to the hair base the dyson will pick up the hair and add the curl. I love my dyson, well worth the investment

I LOVE this tool and have chin length hair. It 's fast drying, volumizes, shines and really smoothes the hair. I was on the fence because of the price, but SO glad to have it.

Hi Nicol. Hope you find mind if I give you a couple of Airwrap tips, it's not necessary to turn the Airwrap, simply take it straight in towards your scalp because your hair will continue to cling to the device. Also switch it off before removing from the curl. You have amazingly thick gorgeous hair, lucky you!! Also your hair would curl better if slightly more damp.

@@melissad7855 yes we experts know best!!😁😁 It's a learning curve, took me a few times to get the hang of it but LOVE IT, hope your do too. I tried the Corrale, but sent it back, much prefer the Airwrap.

I was considering getting it, I have the Dyson dryer and I love it. I got it for my gray, and never use it on high heat or high air. They are really worth it. It’s nickname is “the Cadillac “ 😂

Thanks for this. This Dyson air wrap is RIDICULOUSLY expensive, but I must admit, I went for it, because of how easy it is on hair. I haven't tried using the actual wrap barrels yet, but after seeing you do this, I will. This item was sold out everywhere when I was looking and all I could find was the one with the shorter barrel, and I got a refurbished one. But now my hair is in a bob, rather than long, so I feel like the barrel length is just perfect. It's great to see somebody using it. I learn from that.

I have that Dyson dryer and love it! It was a gift from a dear friend. One hint I use is to push up the off bottom to give your hair a shot of cool hair to lock in the flip. I don’t have your thick hair but I do think mine has thickened up a bit from not damaging it with my old dryer.

Thanks for a great tutorial on the Dyson. Pretty cool technology on the right and left curling with the air just wrapping your hair around it. I am considering investing in this as I may be using too much heat…you noted heat can turn your hair yellowish. I have grayish hair and use all the proper products for it but still looks more blond/ ash

I have shorter hair than yours now, and swear by the Dyson air wrap. May take a couple of times to get used to it, but I don't use anything else now. Well worth the price, if you can afford it.

Wow! Thanks for the video! You make me want to run out & get one! I have exactly the same type of hair you have (except color - I'm a natural redhead who covers her grays with henna), & recently cut it into a bob similar to your's. With me, my hair has thick strands that are coarse & "texured" without being curly. So frizz for me is a big issue, but I NEED volume for my face. You give me hope that there is a **chance** to have consistantly decent hair! Do you also have a video on how you get it cut??

Oh dear , if I had your hair texture, color and thickness I would feel like a million bucks ! Alas, I am blessed with thin, stringy, flat hair that gets worse as the years move on. I enjoyed this video but I will NEVER have hair that looks any where near as nice and healthy as your does. Liked your suggestions but I doubt if anything will help me achieve a more thick and full look.

I don't use a dryer on my hair at all. My hair is very short and a little mousse, my fingers and air do the job. I can't believe anyone spending that much on a dryer or taking that much time to do their hair.
