For vanilla, isn't using Frances McGowan better since that name has 14 letters, enough for all 9593 guests to hold that name?
@MarcelVos
@MarcelVos Жыл бұрын
Oh snap, you're right. A quick 4-year test with 1000 guests converted to 9593 guests gives a throughput of 933,086 guests/hour for that setup.

Since there's space for both a toilet and a first aid stall, you could also try having the maximum number of Sheridans and top up the rest with McGowans, which might have a better throughput. Or do you still need the food stall for this to work?
@jessendelft-1
@jessendelft-1 Жыл бұрын
Also, if you use Mia Sheridan for the 2048 guests like you did in the video you can still have 7546 guests who have a different name, contributing to your total number but just at a slower rate.

As a regular user of the super '8 million people per hour' first aid room, You'd think the room would be horribly filthy, but people are entering, using and exiting the room with such inhuman speed they actually collectively superheat the room to several thousand degrees. It incinerates all dirt, grime and trash instantly. As long as you don't linger in the first aid room for more than a few milliseconds, you'll be perfectly fine.

Hmm, let's assume it's as hot as the surface of the sun, ~5800k. that's about 10 joules per square centimeter of skin per millisecond, if I'm doing my math right. Half a millisecond would be a full body second degree burn. If you can get your time down to a few microseconds though you have a chance!

51,000 acts of vandalism per second in a real-life theme park would be fantastic. They'd open for business at 9am and close at 9.01am due to the park being completely destroyed.

At that rate, assuming it takes about 50 pounds of force to knock over a trash can, vandals will have exerted 15 kilotons of force in about 12 seconds, or the equivalent blast yield of Little Boy. The vandals would literally have a minimum safe distance for any onlookers not to be atomized.

I just love the implication of the security guard scenario…Thousands of people in one spot who *want* to be bad but instead literally don’t do anything at all, and a security guard who just walks around leisurely, and yet he is padding his resume like a mofo with every step, racking up dozens of completed jobs faster than you can blink. Employee of the millennium right there.

Since nobody does any actual vandalism, it's all hypothetical too. It's like being a guard at the Empire State Building, and any time someone walks past you or approaches any piece of furniture in the lobby you count it as an act of prevented terrorism. Then at the end of the day you go up to your boss and tell him you prevented over 10 million people from detonating a bomb inside the Empire State Building that day

The pronunciation of Eilidh is due to it being a Gaelic name. In Gaelic, consonants followed by an H usually are converted to these very soft consonants that you pronounce like a mix between whispering the letter W and the given letter. As a result, you get words like Eilidh being pronounced as Eili; athair as a'heir; and bràthair as bra'heir.

honestly it really isn't. there's nothing going on in this vid that _could_ conceivably crash a game, other than like ... not properly checking the amount of peeps or sprites and trying to insert a new one past the end of the corresponding array. really basic stuff that can't even really be attributed to sawyer ( not that i imagine he forgot it himself ) because openrct2 expanded those limits and thus the game holding steady is thanks to the efforts of its team

I personally use the automatic subtitles, and at least some of your older ride overview videos (for example vertical drop and LIM coaster) have their language set to Dutch (even though you're speaking English), which makes the autosubs go all haywire. I think you can do a mass language change in youtube studio, so shouldn't hopefully take that much time either 😄 Take care!
