Since you didn't explicitly mention it in the video: note that the particular pattern of unowned tiles near the park entrance prevents you from having a ride exit that places them on the tile in front of the park exit.

Not entirely false. Apparently drowning and the subsequent asphyxia causes euphoric feeling which means they die happy which in turn can be phrased pretty much as you did.

it helps that marcel played the first version of the park on stream a few weeks ago, since in the scenario selection screen you can see it is hotel california v1.01, and the discord screenshot shows the creator citing a change about removing transport rides which marcel used on stream to beat the scenario. definitely a clever creator, but marcel also gave some feedback from playtesting

I made a mistake which caused not all guests to go on the ride, and then I concluded I had no choice but to drown the guests that didn't go on the ride. The creator was in the chat and made the changes so that you're forced to drown.

I figure the creator intended to make a scenario that could only be won by drowning guests, and as a Marcel fan knew every trick he would try and thus knew how to force Marcel (or anyone) to resort to the drowning thing. So to me, the creator is a genius supervillain capable of manipulating _even_ Marcel himself to do his bidding.

The original goal was that you needed to trap guests in transport ride queues, which is an idea that's been going around for a while. Then I messed up the "guests will always go on free transport rides" on a livestream by forgetting to test the transport ride and had to drown guests to beat it. That caused the creator to make the updated version I played here.

Man, this is like some horror movie combined with likinal spaces stuff. First, the new park opens, but the lines keep getting longer and no one seems to reach the rides. Dissatisfied people mysteriously disappear, but you can’t leave. You break out of the qeue line and find a series of identical, empty rollercoasters cycling themselves. You are then chased by the simgular crazed engineer maintaining the whole park.

Kind of funny that this is actually how I have beaten Rainbow Summit on RCT1 back when I was a kid. I had some overcrowding issues and I wasn't very good with pathing. I just decided to take the angry guests with the game staying on "pause", dragged around 300-400 guests in the water just before the end of the objective and it actually raised my rating instead of lowering it to 0. I don't understand why, but it worked perfectly as plan. 😂
