do you have any tips on what to look for in jobs or how to find/talk to recruiters?Because I just graduated with degrees engineering & visual arts and im just having trouble finding companies/roles that aren’t asking for 7+ years of experience. im very open to learning & expanding my knowledge in areas like you mentioned

You may have to get comfortable with the idea of not exactly working directly in your field or desired roles at first to build up more experience that could be leveraged later. Attending networking events (you can look at eventbrite) or connecting with your alumni center (if your Alma mater has one) can be really useful too!

@@lenamvann Thank you for this! I think i’ve been so stuck trying to work directly in my field that it’s become frustrating

@@rhyamire it can definitely be frustrating but you’re young and you’ll be able to build experiences in new areas that you may become passionate about. Don’t limit yourself and good luck !!
