Hi Robbie another excellent video, I appreciate your calculations just wondered if you had a video in mind about using Ammonia of Sulphate, Iron of sulphate and seaweed all in the same knapsack sprayer speeding up applications and if indeed you would recommend as such? I understand some products may congeal so might not be a good idea just thought it might be work doing and show calculations considering nitrogen content. Cheers keep the video's coming absolutely awesome.

I'm currently fighting a builder's lawn - turf laid over badly rotivated clay. Just dug out a rock right below the turf that was so big I couldn't lift it and had to roll it out of the way. The best way to cut out turf, backfill the hole so it doesn't sink and put the grass back would be a good video.

Hi Mate, Great video. I have 2 types of Iron Sulphate, Granular and Liquid, Which would you reccomend to use on a lawn really bad with Moss ? Also are you in favour of applying the iron a week or 2 before scarifying and aerating to first blacken the moss ? Or would you say to scarify and aerate first and then apply the iron ? ... I am also looking to overseed and top dress and would ideally like to do this on the same day and also apply a selective weedkiller to help tackle the weeds. what order would you be looking at carrying this out ?

Great follow up there Robbie. The nitrogen rates are interesting because you can compare them with what the S.T.R.I recommends as a yearly rate. I found out earlier when I was looking into it that phosphate is only recommended at 2g per m2 a year and nitrogen 15-20 g per m2, potassium 8-15g per m2. It works out that after a few applications of most granular products we are in fact over applying phosphorus. It's probably better to just use a granular product once in the spring and switch to liquids or use some zero phosphorus granular products.
@Premier_lawns_official3 жыл бұрын
Graham that is exactly the kind of programme most golf courses follow. The granular in the spring gives them some body then they keep it topped up with the liquids during the season.
